Did you know that Outdoorsy owns two campgrounds? You can now rent a rig, luxury tent, or cabin and hunker down at one of our destinations for the full Outdoorsy experience. Both are located in quintessential mountain areas with easy access to natural wonders. To find your own slice of paradise, you can either stay near the charming town of Bayfield, Colorado close to the historic town of Durango or close to the world-famous Yosemite National Park in California.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of the different campgrounds and the whole scope of their amenities, from the cool waters of the swimming pool to the serenity of the private fishing pond.

Outdoorsy Bayfield

Where: Situated in the town of Bayfield, between Durango and Pagosa Springs, Outdoorsy Bayfield sits on 36 wooded acres along the beautiful Pine River. With the San Juan Mountains as your backdrop, you can explore the grounds on walking paths and footbridges. You can even fish in our private waters, no fishing license required.

You’re also not far from everything else in the surrounding area, making Outdoorsy Bayfield the ultimate southwestern Colorado basecamp. Walk just 10 minutes to the town of Bayfield. Or drive to access even more trailheads for hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing and more Durango adventuring.

Accommodations: Outdoorsy Bayfield has over 50 campsites with full hookups, some with waterfront views. You can also book a stay in one of our 25 upscale tents on the property, complete with closet space, a private porch, and your very own kitchenette and bathroom.

You could also have a Durango area RV rental delivered and set up for your arrival at a spacious campsite.

Campground-wide amenities include laundry, WiFi, showers and restrooms, guest-only fishing spots, green spaces for your pets, a community fire pit, and an on-site office and store.
