My family and I have stayed here a number of times. Each time has been a little different as the spaces were different. Some are tight and some are spacious. Luckily the one time we had a really tight space, my sister had the spot next to us, so that made it okay. If it was anyone else, it would have been awkward. This time, we were right where we wanted to be so it was great. We were visited by a bear on our first day, came from behind our trailer and basically asked if we had any extra ribs to spare. It was awesome! The staff are very welcoming and attentive. If you need anything, stop anyone of the staff cruising around on the golf cart and they are more than willing to help with whatever it may be. We had a bent water spigot one of the visits and they came right back with tools and replaced it so we could hook up to the trailer. They offer a number of activities for the kids during the day. The pool is great and was just redone maybe 2 or 3 years ago and is wayyyy better. The pool furniture does not suck either. The community firepit each night is a nice way to meet your fellow campers as well. The lake, grocery store, pizza joint and a couple of bars are all nearby which is great. The Yosemite Sugar Pine Railroad is maybe 20 mins away and is a really cool experience for a train ride in the woods. All in all, this place is a great place to visit. We love it. My kids basically grew up here and as adults love it the same. We will be back for the umpteenth time and then some.

At first our spot appeared very tight and too small for our trailer. The office sent Doug out to help. He offered to take me to another site in his golf cart to see if I felt more comfortable there. We did like our original spot better, so he offered to help my husband back our trailer in. We thoroughly enjoyed our spot for 5 nights, and saw Doug driving around the area a few times, waving at us and stopping to say hello with some great ideas for things for us to do and see. We are actually thinking about renting a permanent spot.

Disappointing!
Too many crammed in the campsite.
Shower block quite dirty not cleaned often enough!
Noisy until 2.30am although states no noise after 11pm.
Too many Golf Carts whizzing about at high speed!

This was my first time ever to Outdoorsy, as well as Bass Lake. My overall experience was very good. My wife and daughter both had a fun experience as well. The ladies at the office were as nice and helpful as can be. The facilities crew driving around in their golf carts offered a friendly smile, wave, and hello each time they drove by. The park was neat and clean and had daily fun activities. The wildlife got exciting and there were plenty of camera moments to be had. Even the fellow campers that surrounded us would stop by just to offer friendly conversation. Out of the numerous pros we experienced I only had one disappointment. The campsites in most areas are very close. My neighbors awning was literally touching my RV. I understand it to be an older campground designed when campers didn't have slide outs and were much smaller. With that being said maybe only sell every other site in tight areas. By and large it wouldn't stop me from returning and my hopes would be that I could choose my site next time as I am much more familiar with the park after my wonderful week at outdoorsy paradise.
