The forestry farm began as a tree nursery, which then transformed into a forest as the trees matured. Today, the farm park and zoo houses gardens, woodlands, and fully restored buildings from the original tree nursery. The zoo provides a habitat for over 300 animals, including big cats, bears, deer, sheep, and caribou.
