Pristine hiking trails and great views of the valley are reason enough to visit this recreation area, but the glowing night skies radiating the light from distant galaxies and stars is truly a sight to behold. There are several phenomenal national parks within driving distance but in the interest of saving time and not getting too ambitious, Capitol Reef National Park is the closest to Midvale. Capitol Reef is known for its stunning monoliths, canyons, natural arches, and other geological oddities that captivate all that look upon the serene desert landscape. You can navigate canyons, rock climb, mountain bike, or even get a permit to harvest wild fruit in the park, or simply just camp out in the backcountry in the comforts of your Midvale RV rental by owner. Bryce Canyon National Park and Canyonlands National Park are a few hours' drive away and easy to reach too if you have the time to see some more Utah beauty.
