Shoppers will want to visit Sandy, Utah, which is a good location for window shopping, cafes and splurging on those designer clothes that are too nice to leave behind. When the dinner bell rings, this is one city where you will want to be. Restaurant prices in Salem are reasonable to cheap, so dining out shouldn't be a burden on the wallet. At least one restaurant serves up Argentinian food, with entrees such as empanadas (chicken or beef wrapped in pastry) and lomito Argentino (toasted sandwich with thinly sliced lomo steak, veggies, spicy chimichurri sauce, and fried egg) that by themselves are worth the trip to Salem. You will also find Peruvian and Mexican food here. The Peruvian restaurant serves gorditas, thin cornmeal bread slices served open face or as wraps, with a variety of toppings. More conservative foodies can check out the Chinese establishments, with familiar dishes served in large portions (and there is your lunch for the next day).
