Although we loved our trip and experience working with Kunes again:
- the RV was in much rougher condition than 2 years ago when we rented it,
- the sewer smell was awful,
- the tank gauges didn't work well,
- we couldn't use the leveling system this time (disabled), so the rig rocked while parked,
- the fridge had a red error light on (though it seemed to work ok),and
- the left (from inside) window above the dining table would occasionally pop open while driving and rattle loudly (until the next stop where I could reattach the broken window opening mechanism

River did a great job going over the features of the trailer and answering any questions we had and we left comfortable with using the trailer. It was clear before we left the trailer was not cleaned. I mentioned to the attendant the refrigerator needed wiping down and inquired if the camper had been cleaned. He said someone would finish up, but unfortunately we found much more on our first stop. The toilet and shower had clearly not been cleaned and we found water bottles and personal items from the previous renters in the trailer. The license plates were 3 months expired on the trailer. When hooked up to water, regardless of pressure the water connection at the toilet leaked. The sensor unit on the wall did not accurately read the water level or the black/grey water levels. We did attempt to use ice down the toilet trick to reset, but were unable. Also, the sink would not run unless hooked up to a water source, regardless of the water tank being full. Cole who checked us back in was great - but we were disappointed in our first rental experience. We plan to rent again as we determine what type/size of camper would work best for us as we hope to make a purchase relatively soon. I will make a thorough examination of the camper before leaving the next time we rent and will think twice about using Kunes.

We had to wait for the RV to be made ready when we went to pick it up. If not for that, I definitely would give Five Stars. All of the staff were polite and helpful. The camper was very clean, and had no problems with it. I would for sure rent from here again.

Robert was friendly and helpful. But, I experienced issues because the camper was delivered and the battery was not fully charged, So the refrigerator only lasted 2 hours the first night when the generator was shut down. After fully charging the battery all day the next day and subsequent days, the refrigerator was easily able to run overnight and well into the next day. But Robert took my call immediately and helped me to understand the issue and was very kind.
