About Kaydon and Holly's RV rentals

As a couple, we love to travel and camp with our cat and two dogs. We do a lot of hiking, exploring, and kayaking among other things. We enjoy doing some trailer camping as well as tent camping and backpacking. We spend most of our time in the Great Basin desert, Garfield county and Wasatch county. We are always ready for a new adventure!

Not only did they neglect to include the generator that I prepaid for, the propane tank was not full and ran out a day early. On top of that the Toilet was clogged. We learned this from trying to use it the first night. That's when we checked the meter for the black water tank and it showed it was full so we drove trailer to town the next morning and paid $15 to empty it. A little tiny bit drained out, but the meter still showed 3/4 full and the toilet never drained. I attempted to contact Kaydon & Holly, but they didn't reply until the next day claiming they didn't see the messages. I find that hard to believe seeing as how I get every message in text form and as a push notification from the outdoorsy app.

We had a wonderful two nights in the camper. It worked great for our family of 4. Kayden and Holly were easy to work with and flexible with pick up and drop off times which helped for our trip a ton.

Nice little rig, perfect for 2 people. Pick up and drop off were easy and quick, with thorough instruction on how to operate everything.

We had several problems with the camper and the owner's, and owners response to our not assuming financial responsibility to for repairing them. First a hot water hose blew off the connection to sink faucet, flooding the trailer and then on our 7th night we had no water to the kitchen sink and pronounced propane gas leak outside the trailer. Kaydon believed we should have repaired these problems, which we had no control over at our expense before returning his trailer. Then they charged our deposit $30 because I had to use a wrench to disconnect the city water connection one morning when the temp was 25 degrees and 25 mph wind in ND. Outdoorsy should advise renters that roadside service does not include the coast of any repairs conducted once the tech is there...and who pays for repairs not the fault of the renters.

We really enjoyed this cute trailer! The owners are terrific! We had quite a problem hooking up the lights to our vehicle, we think that the trailer hitch electrical plug is old and it just wouldn't make good contact with our brand new adapter. Other than that we loved it!
