This 25' RV had everything we needed for a family of 4 with 2 young children, going around the Sierra. The RV has come of age a bit with signs of wear and a pet accompanying travel but all the amenities and extras make up for it easily. The bike rack, AC, BBQ, extra water tank, tons of lights, Sirius XM, etc. etc. The Bigfoot leveller is extremely helpful to stabilize and level for a good night sleep. The mattress is comfy and with 2 slide-outs, everyone gets the space needed. The two main indoor benches with the table fit our 2 kids and backpacks but there wasn't room for the parents for meal time but an additional foldable table in the storage was sufficient to enjoy outdoor meals. A couple more hangers/storage alternatives for clothes would be helpful, especially when travelling with kids. The owner was super responsive and helpful throughout the trip. I can recommend this RV entirely.

Let me start off by saying that he seems like a nice enough guy but his lack of communication through out this process was horrible. I reserved this RV back in Feb. Now of course we had COVID19 but by the time the trip was coming up we were well into opening up. When I contacted him he seemed confused that I was still planning on going and he thought that Outdoorsy canceled a long time ago....NO they didn't. He seemed to be on board with going ahead with the rental and we were all set. Two days before pick up he cancels the booking stating transmission trouble. He has had 5 months to ensure his transmission was working! This left me with nothing; kids basically crying that their camping trip is not going to happen; and guess what..it's too late to get anything else! I gave him 2 stars for communication because he did give me his cell number and I was able to contact him directly. I don't think most owners check this site very often and basically forget they have their RV's listed here. My advice triple check and be persistent. Like I said, he seems like a nice guy but this was a HUGE failure. (btw his name isn't Joe)

We had a fabulous trip in this RV. We went for 2 weeks down the California coast. The RV handled well and was exactly what was advertised. It is well equipped and served all of our needs. The bed is very comfortable and came with lots of extra pillows and towels. Craig was easy to get ahold of and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely go through Craig again and rent this RV. Loved our vacation and will be planning another one very soon!!!!

First time RV renters/campers and what an experience it was! After a lot of research, this RV size/length was exactly right for 2 people. Everything was explained to us and after our first day with a lot of questions for Craig which were handled via text, we finally got the hang of it. The RV was easy to drive and handle on curvy, mountainous roads. The pop outs were easy to handle. The bed was a super comfy queen size, with a memory foam mattress which was the best. It was a little challenging to pop out the back and get the bed aligned but we found a system which worked. The bathroom is tight but the toilet worked great. The shower is fine for a 6' tall person and the hot water was plentiful and very hot. I cooked some on the burners which were very easy to light. We used the propane BBQ grill a lot which was easy to set up. The RV seats are very comfortable with no back issues from sitting for a few hours of driving. There is a back up camera which is helpful.
The thermostat and heating unit works well. There are two TV's but we didn't use them. Craig was very flexible with pick up and drop off times/location. Great RV to rent if you want a smaller size with everything included.

Keep in mind, this was my first time ever driving an RV (I've ridden along in many of the years). The Fleetwood Ranger RV itself is in fantastic, spacious and in nearly new condition. Everything works, all the gear you need is either included or a request from Craig and it drives much easier than I expected. My wife and I did a 6 day tour of Northern California parks. The RV handled the slopes and steep grades like a champ and the easy down shifting paddle made it a breeze to keep speed and control at it's best without burning brake pads. My absolute favorite thing is how cool and accommodating Craig and his wife were to us about pick-up and drop-off. It was five star service all the way. One of my favorite trips of all time thanks to this awesome RV and Craig!

Craig was very easy to deal with and very responsive with questions before, during and after the rental. I was probably a bit of a difficult client and he was very patient with me. It is a nice unit and Craig provides everything you need for your trip. The unit performed very well and was very easy to drive.

Craig was a great host and RV owner. He was very responsive when I had any questions and was ready to order a bottom step for the RV since the one on the RV was not working due to waiting on a part. That did not work out, but he gave me an option to go to a nearby Camping World and purchase one. As it turned out, I couldn't work it into my vacation, so I opted not to. Craig was very kind and offered to refund me a day's rental for the inconvenience, which I thought was extremely thoughtful. He refunded my security deposit the day after I returned the RV, which was very much appreciated. Craig was easy to work with through Outdoorsy and by text, phone, and email. I would definitely recommend Craig if you are interested in renting a nice RV for your vacation.
