While Curt is very nice and accommodating with our change in schedule, and gave us a ride to dinner, there were some issues with the RV. The kitchen items were dirty, and there was no large knife (I asked what was provided and told 'full kitchen'). There was also chewed gum stuck in the back of the truck. The sheets were stained, which even if they were clean, does not give comfort to the renter. Mold was also growing on the windows next to the bed, which we cleaned and did not reappear. The awning handle fell off while we were driving and it was clear it had been glued back on before.A few things we wish we knew before booking include (1) that the range top did not stay up without pushing it into the fan (which is fine, but we felt like we were ruining the fan), (2) the hot water did not work, (3) there is a leak in the grey water in the back (curt said he was unaware but it was clearly fixed before), (4) the back doors of the truck need to be manually locked (again, fine, just need to know), (5) how to control the fridge temperature (as we could not see a way to do so and our vegetables froze) and (6) the back of the bed sheets were wet every morning (this could have been condensation, but we were not able to figure it out and Curt seemed surprised). We still got from A to B with no issues with the truck, but want to be sure that the next renter is aware of above.
