Great van to get a taste of vanlife!

This was our first time renting any type of RV and overall we had a great experience! The van was clean and ready for use upon pick up. The linens were freshly laundered and smelled great (I personally love clean laundry scent). Garrett was very responsive to our questions, and we had quite a few since we were newbies! His walk through video was a great start to getting us familiar with the van, and he had prepared us well for what would be stocked inside it. He went out of his way last minute to purchase and provide tire cables, as the weather report warned of late season snow storms in the area where we were headed.There were also a couple of small snags along the way, but nothing that wasn't eventually worked out. We did end up needing more information about how to use the van's systems than was initially provided. I imagine this is because many renters already know these details, but we did not. In particular, we didn't know how to empty the cassette toilet, which we looked up a Youtube video for, or how to empty the gray water/fill the fresh water, for which we received help from a fellow RVing family at a dump site. None of it was hard, it was just a bit tricky figuring out what we didn't know. I do think we could have used more specific instructions and how-tos, but in the end we figured things out and it was smooth sailing after that.The one significant bummer was that the fridge was broken. We were informed of this the day of pick up, and Garrett did provide a cooler in place of the fridge, which was nice, but it was a factor was had not planned on (not to mention the floor space a cooler takes up). The cooler was a fine size for storage, but was not great quality (and had no drain spout) so we had to drain it and fill it with ice every other day to keep it cold. We appreciate the effort made to take the place of the fridge, but it was an amenity we had been counting on for ease of use, so the added time and planning of keeping our food cold was definitely a hassle.

We had an awesome experience with Garrrett. He answered all our questions promptly which was a great help since this was our first experience renting a van. I would definitely recommend him. The van allowed us to be flexible and was easy to drive and It was a perfect fit for our needs. Plenty of storage and economical to drive. We would rent it again in a heart beat. This van was everything we dreamed of. We saw all the amazing scenic views of Utah and hiked in Bryce and the national parks. Garrett was incredibly helpful and responsive. We loved renting this RV- it was our first RV and Garrett was very accessible and responded quickly to our questions. Highly recommend this rental!

We spent close to three weeks traveling in Allred the van. We have only good things to say about the van and Garrett. Allred is comfortable, in great condition, and has everything you might need. Clean, well-equipped, nicely laid out for the two of us. Averaged 17.5 mpg over a lot of miles. Solar panels served incredibly well; we never plugged in even through 9 days of drizzle/rain but always had power for lights, fridge, etc. Garrett is responsive and helpful, and replied immediately to any question. We highly recommend and would repeat if occasion arose.

The RV was fine. We just found out the hard way that we are both too old and too big to squeeze our way in and out of the bed and we’re always in each other’s way inside the camper. All that aside, the scenery was fantastic. Didn’t realize we would have no cell service nor WiFi for 3 weeks except when we stayed in motels/lodges.

Loved our trip to the Utah National Parks in Garrett’s Solis. Would definitely recommend. Our favorite experience with the van was being able to park in the trailhead lot, and then cook lunch before our hike. When we had an issue arise, Garrett was very quick to respond and help us work through it.
