The BEST van experience! It has an alternator that charges while you drive, plus solar panels, so you can truly do it all off-grid, even though we decided to stay at RV parks. The bed was so comfy, and it really has everything you need. We had the best time driving down to the sand dunes and back. Larry was super helpful and a great host! We would totally rent again! Just the facts. Camper was still filthy from last rental: floor covered in dirt, leaves, and plastic bits, dirty dishes still in the sink with dried butter and BBQ sauce, kitchen counter with bacon grease, fridge with grime on shelves and doors, bathroom with tooth paste stains in sink. Propane system issue (possible leak) meant we had no hot water (couldn't wash dishes or shower) and no heat on cold nights. One stabilizer bar wouldn't deploy. Pictures shared with host, he sounded genuinely embarrassed and wanted to "make things right financially" but as of two weeks since renting, he has kept all $1000 I spent on this rental. Would have given him 3 stars if he refunded some of the money as promised.
