About David's RV rentals

Some of my happiest times were the memories of my family taking me on camping trips when I was young. I loved it soo much that when I got older I purchased my first RV when my son was first born 22 years ago. Since then I had a daughter and have camped over hundreds of campgrounds over the years and have owned over 10 different campers. My favorite trips were heading up the coast to the New England states. I LOVE camping in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I have a BEAUTIFUL golden retriever and would bring her on every single camping trip that we would go on. Now, our kids are older so we don't get to go on as many trips and I wanted to make our RV available so other people could use it and make memories of a lifetime. My name is Dave and I'm a retired Police Officer and going camping and meeting new people at campgrounds is my favorite thing to do. I have met people from campgrounds from over 20 years ago that I am still friends with.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. David is a wonderful host, answers any questions you have, even made videos of how to operate his RV! The equipment is meticulously maintained, drove like a champ, and the water heater made me feel like I was taking a shower in my own home. If you are in the area and need an RV for your trip, I highly recommend renting with David. Thanks and I'll be renting again!!

Toilet was lose. Shower was taped up. AC was Terrible. No leveling system. Overall very disappointed. Dave was very cool and easy to work with. Available at every moment. But the RV just killed it for us. We ended up having to leave the campsite and go home because the AC kept tripping and shorting out. Imagine packing up and getting home at 11pm with 2 toddlers and a newborn.

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with my RV. I’d like to address your concerns directly to provide some clarity on the issues you encountered.Regarding the AC, I am truly sorry it kept tripping during your trip. The AC was working perfectly before you took the RV, as we tested it for an hour while you were here and we were going over the paperwork inside of the RV. During your two-night stay, it did not trip initially. You mentioned it ran fine on the generator and plugged into my home without any issues upon your return. It's possible that the nearly 100-degree weekend and the campground's electric grid, which is shared by many RVs, could have caused the breaker to trip. Unfortunately, this is beyond my control and not a fault of the RV itself. If there was an issue with my electric, the breaker would've tripped while the generator was running it, and it would've tripped at my home and that did not happen. The AC has not one time tripped since your return.As for the shower door and toilet, I want to clarify that I pointed out the tape on the shower door and the loose bolt on the toilet when you took possession of the RV. The tape was a temporary measure while waiting for a part to arrive, but the shower door was fully functional. The toilet was secure and not leaking; the tape was added as an extra precaution. I disclosed these issues to you upfront, and you were okay with them when you signed and took possession of the RV. The photo that you posted of the shower was of the rail. The rail has grease and rollers. There is grease in the track so the rollers will properly roll so the door will easily open.

David was extremely through on how all systems on his RV operate. Driving the RV was very comfortable. Everything worked normally. Plenty of sleeping & living space. Easy to set up and break down. Can’t wait to book this RV for another trip!

David is an excellent host - very quick to respond with details to all questions you may have about the trailer. The trailer is very clean and well stocked for cooking, cleaning, and has a surprising amount of storage for a teardrop camper. The stay was very comfortable, I would highly recommend! His location is also very convenient to pick up from off the highway for a variety of camping trips in the area.
