Renter beware. There are several safety and functional issues with this RV. The images listed on Outdoorsy depicting the cosmetic quality of this RV are misleading. Please take the time to read the remainder of this review.General “Need to Know” Information
1 The overall condition of the RV is not in great shape. The images posted on Outdoorsy are misleading.
2 Bring a large ice chest and plenty of ice. The fridge takes ~5 hours to get cold and the freezer takes ~2 hours to chill.
3 Be prepared for the cost of filling the gasoline tank. ½ of the gasoline tank is ~21 gallons.
4 The owner does not provide anything except toilet paper. This means that you will need to bring everything from a coffee maker to eating utensils. My advice is to make a detailed list of everything you would need to use for preparing meals, bathing, cleaning, and so on.
5 The owner will fill the RV water and propane tanks.Safety Issues
1 The rearview mirrors vibrate so bad when the RV is in motion that it is impossible to gauge the distance of vehicles behind the RV.
2 The RV is out of alignment so once the vehicle exceeds speeds of 45-50 MPH, it becomes very difficult to keep it moving in the intended direction.
3 The backup camera does not work in the RV storage yard. I did not have trouble with it in the campground but it started displaying static when I was returning it to the storage yard. I notified the owner and his verbatim response was, “oh , sorry forget let you know, the camera is wireless camera, in the storage can't use because the storage have too many safe wireless camera.”
4 The power plug attached to the left bench seat of the kitchen dinette is missing its cover. This could cause a short circuit if there is a spill. It could also be dangerous for small children who could stick their fingers or metal objects into the open space surrounding the plug.
5 The power cord that connects the RV to a campground “city” power connection is missing approximately 3-4 inches of external insulation at the rear of the plug. This exposes the white, green, and black power wires that are otherwise covered by the protective external insulation.
6 There is water damage along the exterior shower wall that faces the bedroom. We did not have leakage but this should be inspected to ensure the RV subfloor is not rotten and thus a safety hazard.
7 The sewer line is too short and is missing the 90-degree angle connection that connects to the campground sewer line or dump station. This creates a biohazard issue since the line can disconnect and spill human waste in the campground or while draining the tank at a dump station.
8 The rear-left turn signal tail light is out.General Functional Issues
1 Airconditioning in the cab cuts out intermittently and then stops blowing cold air entirely.
2 The fan setting in the cab cuts out intermittently.
3 Airconditioning in the RV cabin does not work. It only blows air.
4 Rear air vents in the bedroom do not work.
5 The RV does not have cabin stabilizers. This means that when walking through the RV, it will sway side-to-side.
6 The exhaust fan in the bathroom squeals like a banshee for the first minute after it is turned on.Cosmetic Issues
1 The privacy blinds above the sink are missing 3 horizontal blinds in the middle.
2 The right-side privacy blind above the sofa does not stay in the up position.
3 The right-side privacy blind in the bedroom does not pull down on the right side. It must be gently pulled down or it will remain up.
4 The exterior paint and vinyl graphics are faded and peeling. This is important to note since the pictures listed on the Outdoorsy site are misleading.
5 The interior upholstery is sun-damaged and peeling. Again, the images listed on Outdoorsy are misleading.
