It honestly was a genuine pleasure to deal with Ute for this rental. While not inexpensive, this adaptation of the Dodge Caravan Caravan remains more affordable than renting a bigger RV. It was my first experience in a rooftop tent and this model is very easy to setup and quite comfortable. It is not very spacious but more than sufficient for one person (a couple in good terms would not complain too much I suppose..). I need to emphasize how clean and well kept this vehicle is, quite remarkable! I spent most of my time (2 weeks in early September) hiking in Kananaskis, Waterton Lakes and Banff, a great timing (easy to find camping spots and less crowds everywhere). Just bring a good sleeping bag (and a air matress to make sleeping even more comfortable) and you are good to go. Warmly recommended!

We’ve had such an amazing experience with Ella. Everything was well organized inside and really comfortable. Pretty easy to pull up the tent and pull it down - so convenient when you have to go from one campground to another. Everything is well organized inside the van, all material you need is in it. There is space inside with 2 small stools, economic in gas. We highly recommend traveling with Ella we’ve had 10 incredible days and so happy to find this camper van!

Amazing experience!
We loved the van, it’s fully equipped and have everything you can need during your trip.
We slept really well in the tent.
We love the liberty we had with the van, 100% autonomous and being able to stop and cook anywhere we wanted for lunch.
Ute is very nice and we loved chatting with her about our trip and the van :)

Nous avons eu une super expérience avec Wally ! Tout est très bien pensé. Tout y est, il ne manque plus que nos vêtements pour partir à l’aventure. Le van est spacieux, très fonctionnel (rangement, prise électrique, usb). Même les jours de pluie, il est possible de manger à l’intérieur du van.
Ute et Harry sont disponibles pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Ils sont très arrangeants et sont même venus nous chercher à l’aéroport.
C’est le van idéal pour partir en toute sérénité! Merci Ute et Harry !

I highly recommend travelling around the rocky mountains with Ella, it is such a unique experience for new and experienced campers and you can tell Ute thought of every single detail!

I couldn't have dreamed of a better 6-day adventure through the Rocky Mountains! Ella had become part of our family by the end of the trip! The van is equipped with everything you can think of to make for a safe and efficient ride. Included is all kitchen utensils/pots and pans, a kettle, french press, fridge, hibachi stove top (which worked very well), extra fleece blankets for a warm sleep, propane, chairs for the campfire, towels, dish soap and cleaning supplies, bear spray, axe for firewood and so so much more. Truly, Ella has all your bases covered, just bring yourself. The van was in excellent condition and was sparkling clean. Although we were initially nervous about the set/up and take down of the tent, it this process proved to be much easier than anticipated. Also, Ella's owner, Ute, took great care of us- friendly service, quick communication and provided a detailed description of the van before departure. Overall, I would rate this experience a 12/10 and I highly recommend Ella and Ute to anyone who is venturing to the great Canadian Rockies!

My boyfriend and i took Ella for 5 nights in July and we loved it! Just bring your clothes and food becasue everything else youll need is in there! Ute has thought of everything! To not have to build and collapse a tent daily is such a joy! In less than 2 minutes your home and bed for the night is ready...just pop it up and throw in your sleeping bags! Its easy to drive too!

We rent Ella for 8 days and it was perfect! The van is fully equipped and very comfortable. Everything you'll need for a road trip is here and this van made our experience memorable.
Ute was an amazing host, gave us much advice and we especially appreciate the pick-up and the drop off at the airport.
I will recommend Ella to all of my friends!

This was the most amazing trip I've had in a long time, and it's all thanks to Ute and the wonderful Ella!
Ute was incredibly helpful with our planning and gave really insightful advice to make sure our trip went smoothly even before we had picked up the van.
As for Ella, we honestly couldn't ask for better! Incredibly easy and quick to setup, comes with everything you could ever need, super comfortable and easy to drive!
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to spend a few days or even weeks in the mountains!!

We had amazing experience with "Ella" the campervan. It came with all the camping needs and our host 'ute' is extremely nice. I highly recommend this van to new or experienced campers. Gonna come back soon.

I put this Grand Caravan on reservation for 3 weeks during peak season 9 months ahead of my planned trip. I spoke with the owners Ute and Harry several times providing me with all detailed information about Wally. They responded very quickly and kindly. Offering me extras at no cost and even offered a pickup at the airport early in the morning. I was forced to cancel due to the high expenses of this 3 week trip and my health. I discovered that my reservation money was not owed back to me due to the contract with Outdoorsy.
Ute said she would give it back if she rented out the time I had committed too. Leaving the issue as it was I thanked them for being helpful and patience. By the end of the day Ute had offered the deposit amount back in full. They didn't have to and still did. That is customer service far and beyond. Ute and Harry are people you want to do business with. Bless them both Merry Christmas.
