BEWARE! 0 STARS. What was supposed to be a family vacation/work trip ended up a nightmare and us driving 9 hours back home, 3 days early. Long story short, we began having issues with the generator & AC on day 2. It wasn’t staying cool, the breaker kept tripping causing the system to shut off and me having to restart every 20-30 min. We had our 2yr old & 4yr old boys with us, they were clearly flushed & getting hot. When reaching out to Hector we were left with minimal communication/solutions (he sent us a page on yelp for US to find someone to fix it). He was nice & apologetic on the phone but had zero follow through or actual assistance. The excuse I was given by the other owner Ed was that Hector was busy celebrating his anniversary. Ed has since gaslit us saying “we’ll be sure others know the AC doesn’t get as cold as a hotel room” WHAT!? No care at all! We have been home almost 2 weeks now with still NO discussion of compensation or anything. These issues aside, that RV is not worth what you pay to rent. There are windows that don’t work, Bluetooth/radio disconnects anytime you hit a big bump, microwave smells moldy, etc. I could go on but the characters are limited!

Promised a cargo carrier and was given a wheel chair ramp: When picking up, owner didn’t get DEF so had to buy some, added expense. All the blinds didn’t work, one massage chair broke, no rear AC. Had to stop and change wiper blades out 30 minute into trip. Vehicle broke down in Florida. Had two rent 2 vehicles to get back. Owner thinks a $500 discount is sufficient but added in mileage to get vehicle back from Florida he is wanting me to pay. Owner was irritated we couldn’t stay past our trip to get vehicle fixed. We had obligations at home the next day. Vehicle looks great in pics but once you are using it, it’s not user friendly. I will be contacting the rental service about this experience and trying to get the a fair refund. Really disappointed in our experience with outdoorsy at this time

Nice vehicle overall. For a larger vehicle, this handled very well.
Being able to park our car at the pick up location was convenient and a nice perk.
It is older and there were a few maintenance items that weren't as maintained as we'd like and the van wasn't quite ready at the time we agreed upon so our departure time was delayed.
The return process was easy and smooth.

I really enjoyed renting from Ed & Hector. They’ve been most helpful! when I get in a bind at the campsite, they’ve been available to help me solve my dilemma

Hector was Great to work with! We drove this to Florida from Missouri and it was great for my family of 7! The ac in the back was a little warm so we bought an oscillating fan to help push ac from the front cab to the back. Other than ac, it was fantastic and we will use again next vacation!

The Thor was clean and in great working condition. The initial walk-through was very thorough. It rode like a dream compared to other RVs we’ve rented. The communication with the owners was convenient and timely during the entire process.

watch your miles they add up fast :-( was good experience for first time. Host/staff were accommodating as app didn't notify them of my reservation as made previous night and went to pickup at noon and ended up waiting for 2 hours finally by 3rd hour was able to hit road. so not ideal for last minute/emergency bookings. in my haste did not request instructions on crucial items but was a great experience.

Let me start off by saying this RV got us all the way to Florida and back. It performed its main function. Everything else is bad.
For starters, when we went to pick up the RV Hector had just gotten back from an auto parts store to diagnose the engine light. He said the diagnosis wouldn't effect our trip but the engine light would stay on (which it did our entire trip). When showing us how to turn on the generator he struggled to get it to work for about 15 minutes. He finally got it turned on and said it would work. The generator DID NOT WORK our entire trip. We were unable to use any of the amenities and my children had to be hot in the back at times because the only working AC in the front would completely stop working for hours at a time. Awful. Hector also tried to say we damaged the hood which we disproved because I had taken pictures of my own that showed the hood looking just like that when we went to pick it up. I will attach the picture he claimed he took of the RV just before we left with it. The orange sticker at the top of the windshield was not there. I can only assume this was an old photo from when they replaced the windshield he tried to pass off as a recent photo?
Other issues: blown speakers
-generator does not work
-back is very hot without the additional ac unit (which can't work without a generator)
-half the cameras do not work
-roof vent leaks
-cigarette outlet does not work
-cosmetically the interior vinyl is peeling everywhere
-sliding door handle only works half the time (you have to open it from to inside).

Would rent again! As first time RV'ers, it was a very smooth experience and great communication from both Ed and Hector. Rig drove well and is in good condition.
