Apparently, the previous renter returned the RV 2 days late and slightly wrecked (tore off the awning, etc). Knowing that 12 hours wasn't enough lead time for me to schedule another RV, Melissa called and asked if we'd like to cancel or proceed. We elected to proceed, and I'm glad we did. With an 80 year old father, rescheduling a family vacation ain't so easy. Upon my return, Melissa did, apparently, get the RV repaired.
