About Lisa-Jae Stangarone

Hey there, we're Scott and Lisa. We love being outside and enjoying all the activities that Maine has to offer. Our favorites include surfing, climbing and hiking with our dog, Kona! We have built and lived in several vans, a vintage Toyota camper and a mini school bus; and are stoked to share the van life experience with others! Casco: 2012 Ford Transit is an awesome weekend camping vehicle! He is small and fuel efficient, and is perfectly suited for 2 people. Francois: 2006 Ford Econoline is outfitted with a fridge, rooftop tent, and dinette/bed. It comfortably fits up to five people, so bring your friends and family along! Jeri and Penny: Both 2017 Ford Transit Connects. Super reliable and comfortable, perfect for adventuring across vacationland! All of our vans are dog friendly! The van was roomy and comfy and easy to drive. Two nights in the pop up tent, which was easy to set up and take down, and two nights in the van, where the mattress has a little more padding than above. Working with Scott was efficient and being able to get the van at the airport and drop it off there was perfect.

We had a fantastic time! The van was easy to drive and had all the basics you could need. The solar panel provides lights and a charging station which is so helpful. We loved exploring Maine and stayed very warm and cozy at night with the comforter. An added plus, Scott and Lisa are kind people and are communicative. They were able to accommodate our changing schedules last minute.

We loved our trip to Acadia with Francois. Very thoughtfully built out campervan with great functional features as listed. The bed & pop up tent were really comfortable and easy to use. Lots of storage space in the van. Additionally , Scott was awesome to work with and really put in the effort to help us have a great trip. Pickup and drop off were very convenient! Would highly recommend booking Francois for your Maine trip! :)

The van was perfect for what we needed on our trip. It was rainy and cold but we stayed toasty in Casco! Scott was very responsive and made the pick-up and drop-off easy. Will definitely do this again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Ford Transit, our dependable steed through Maine and SE Canada. Easy to drive, upgraded bed from typical camping trips, and inverter for most charging needs. Scott was accommodating, easy to reach, and very communicative. Would rent this van again, no question. Thank you, Scott and Lisa!
