This was our first RV trip as a family. We traveled with our two sons, 5
and 7 years old, so there was quite a bit of trepidation from everyone
involved at the start. Konrad helped us tremendously throughout the
process, by taking us through his RV, the driving, the slide-out, TV,
internet, etc. The orientation took about a1.5 hours and it was well worth
it!Konrad was also always present during the rental to answer our amateur
questions (the answers to which were in fact almost always in the manual he
wrote). Given the unavoidable glitches we created by being total beginners,
it is an understatement to say that Konrad was helpful and extremely
patient with us.The RV itself felt wonderful: There was an answer to all our needs
throughout the 2-week trip we took in the Sierra. The solar panels worked
wonders, and we only had to use the generator for a couple of hours when it
rained for two days in Mammoth. The satellite internet connection was
miraculous, with high speed internet in the most remote locations, provided
the sky view was uninterrupted by trees. We never even used the TV, but it
was clear you could watch and stream easily. The only thing I would say is
that the satellite dish is not cheap, and so you should only get it if
having a frequent connection is important to you.Our kids slept better in the RV than they did for most of the rest of the
holidays. The double queen bed is as comfortable as it gets (and I mean
hotel comfortable, not camping comfortable). The dinette bed is a bit
smaller, but can accommodate a small adult and a child (or two children if
they are not prone to falling off beds). This would be the only issue that
we had where the dinette didnt really comfortably sleep 2 people. Konrad
threw in a mattress pad to help us manage this though. Not very convenient
but manageable. I think if we were more seasoned travellers, a tent and
sleeping bag outside the RV would have helped us manage even better, when
the weather allowed it. That said, we slept 11-12h nights most of the trip! The bathroom works very well. The shower has a (soft) closing door so
showering does not flood the rest of the bathroom. The toilet works
smoothly, and the smell in the bathroom never got too bad thanks to an
extremely powerful fan in there (that is also perfect to evacuate steam
from showering). And that is even though we forgot to use the adequate
product that would minimize bathroom smells: it never felt necessary. The kitchen is well equipped and everything has a place. We appreciated the
welcome gift which was a smores DIY kit, which lasted us for the entire
trip. We particularly loved the gourmet chocolate (instead of the standard
Hersheys :), thanks Konrad)! The one thing I would say left a bit to be desired was the outside view for
passengers sitting in the back: While the driver and co-pilot have great
views, whoever is sitting in the back will find it difficult to see what is
happening around the RV, especially on the (right) side. But that's
probably asking a bit much for a car four people can live in comfortably. All in all, a wonderful experience in a very comfortable RV with a great
host. Highly recommended.Shireen

Wow! What an experience. Just absolutely wonderful.First, Konrad and Devi are awesome hosts. They are very nice and (obviously) very knowledgeable about their rig. Konrad took the time to walk the entire machine with me to show me how everything works. The information binder is very clear, concise and well laid out so that if you have any question about anything while on your trip, you can find the answer. The RV is easy to drive. Yes, you have to be careful on the freeway as it is wide. You have to take your time going up and down mountains. But, honestly, it was easier to drive than even a small u-haul. The diesel engine is very powerful...and the suspension is pretty stiff, so you don't have to worry about "floating" all over the place. It really does stay where you put it.The solar is awesome. We were camping for 3 days and we only turned the generator on one time in the entire trip in order to run the AC...and that really wasn't necessary.Starlink is awesome. Yes, it's great to disconnect, but with two little kids we just felt more comfortable being able to make a call if we needed to...or to get a call if one needed to come in. And, yes, I worked (a little)...and this thing is super fast. VOIP was no problem. Also, with Starlink, you can watch the tv inside...which, yes, we shouldn't really be doing that either. But, at the end of a long day of camping, it's nice to be able to put the kids in front of Netflix for an hour or so while mom and dad get dinner ready (aka nap). The beds are super comfortable. The heater worked great. There is plenty of space for storing your stuff, including food. Plenty of extra bedding and linens.I highly recommend this RV for your next rental…you will be stoked before, during, and after your trip!- Trevor
