I’d like to start by saying that the owner seems incredibly nice. However, my husband and I would like to be transparent in our review so that others may be prepared for what they will encounter. The following damage, unpleasantries and unsafe equipment are what we experienced upon picking up the RV from the owner:
- Photos used in RV listing appear to have possibly been taken when owner first purchased this RV; photos do not accurately depict condition of this vehicle
- top bunk saturated in overwhelming (urine) smell
- Whole RV has overwhelming pungent odor
- Pubic hair
- Animal hair
- Human hair
- Urine covering the restroom floor, wall, all around toilet
- Received RV with black tank still partially full
- Shower & bathroom sink covered in hair, dirt, grime
- RV filled with (so much) garbage, wrappers, owner’s old stuff that there was no room for any of our belongings to camp with (filled 7 LG/XL boxes with their garbage and belongings)
- Leaking kitchen faucet
- Spare tire bracket broken; unsecured, and handed off to us with one single know tying it to the mount
- Tire pressure system inoperable
- Unable to check tire pressures throughout entire (18 day) trip due to valve stem cap locked (on driver side), and damage to valve stem (on passenger side)
- Fridge drawer cracked (many places) and falling apart
- Excessive damage to all kitchen & dining/bed framing, cabinets & particle board
- Upon arrival to pickup the RV from the owner, he gave it to us with the RV undercarriage barrier torn and dragging on the ground across multiple large areas underneath the vehicle
- Ant infestation; we had to completely empty out the entire RV, find somewhere to launder all bedding, clothing and items; throw out all food/consumable items (not in ziplock bags and containers); then re-pack and load the RV half way through our trip
- Informed by the owner that we were required to use his weight distribution system/bars; however, the bars, pins & components were broken and came loose, dragging falling on multiple occasions while in transit on the highway (until we had to duct tape them), which the owner was aware of this pre-existing concern

Russell provided hands down the best experience I have had renting on Outdoorsy. He was super helpful in walking me through everything, the trailer was prefect and super clean. I highly recommend renting this trailer from Russell!
