Phillip was a great renter during his trip. He had a few questions along the way, and we were happy to help—he was very communicative. He returned the RV in the same condition it was given: clean and with the gas tank filled, just as when he picked it up. We had recently put in new flooring, window coverings, carpet, dinette seating, and couch, so we especially appreciated that he took care of everything. We checked in with him to thank him and ask how his trip went. He said it was great and thanked us. The next day, we submitted the mileage and generator hours through Outdoorsy, based on the listing. He drove round trip from TX to CA. We include 125 miles per day and 4 generator hours per day, and any overages incur additional charges, as stated in the rental agreement he agreed to. When Outdoorsy billed him, he immediately began sending vulgar, obscene messages and threats through text and the app. This continued for hours—from 3:22pm-10:01pm harassing me and my husband. He became extremely angry over charges that were outlined and agreed to beforehand. Please be aware when considering renting to him, as he may become hostile and unhinged if things don’t go his way.

Our road trip wouldn’t have been possible without Tyrone and his van! Tyrone is a great, responsive, and incredibly nice host, and the van was clean, comfortable, and got us to our destination and back. We were almost sad to turn it in! Would rent from him again, not only for the van, but also for Tyrone’s attentiveness and responsiveness.

Michael was very thorough in his set-up and directions on how to use the trailer.
The trailer was new and we were the first guests!!
The amenities were great. Cast iron flat top griddle and fridge at the outdoor kitchen, instant hot water and a pantry that made storage easy.

The refrigerator did not work. All the food we bought had to be thrown out, When I first opened the fridge it smelled so bad, like rotten food. There was several boxes of soda inside to disguise the smell. I turned it on but it never got cold. I contacted the owner and she gave me her husband’s number. I called him, he said it worked when he turned it on, told me to read the manual. I did it just wouldn’t get cold .We were in a remote place and had no choices. Owners knew there was a problem. The money we paid was significant, we were very disappointed
