We had been hesitant about camping for 3 days over thanksgiving with our family of 30, especially when the weather was looking like rain all three days. Most of the group had RVs (4 before we rented ours, plus a small trailer, a horse trailer, 2 tents and 2 yurts). We only tent camp occasionally so aren't very well equipped, so we turned to Outdoorsy to find something that would work in all kinds of weather, plus allow us to prepare food for what some call a "Martha Stewart" thanksgiving. We found Kacie and Andre's 5th wheel and thought it would work well. It was AWESOME! The whole experience was PERFECT! I asked a bunch of questions before committing and Kacie answered immediately. We were dry camping so I wanted to make sure it would work without hook-ups (we managed for 3 days without needing to charge the battery, and the propane provided was enough also.)The best part is that we did not have to pull the trailer, nor set it up. Andre did that for us, and they even worked around our schedule. When we arrived at the campsite, it was set up and ready to live in, with a rug and chairs outside and a bottle of wine inside (Thanks Kacie, for the wine, it was enjoyed by many). The spaciousness of the trailer was much more than I expected. It was huge!Fortunately, the weather was awesome, so really didn't spend much time inside. We did bake 2 pies, sourdough rolls and stuffing in the oven. We cooked eggs and heated 2 pots of Chili on the outdoor stove and washed a bunch of dishes in the double sink. Our private bedroom was tight but super warm and cozy. Our son and daughter-in-law slept on the fold out sofa, not as comfy as the bed but worked out great as both couples had their own space. Since we didn't have hook-ups we weren't able to try out the TVs or fireplace and couldn't charge our devices (but we didn't check the very thorough instruction book so see if we were missing something). We did not use the shower, and the bathroom faucet is a bit difficult to get your hands under, but it was very nice to have a toilet on site. The refrigerator and freezer were big by RV standards and even without hook ups they worked well to keep the food cold and the ice frozen. In summary, the RV was amazing and the envy of the group and we would definitely consider renting it again as the whole experience was so positive. Thanks so much Andres and Kacie.
