Tim and his wife were absolutely wonderful guests! They traveled to Washington to celebrate retirement with an adventure through our beautiful national parks, and it was a joy to host them. They took exceptional care of the van, communicated clearly throughout their trip, and returned everything clean and in great condition.

Every once in a while, I get a guest who wants to take Vanna out for a much more extended trip. It usually means a bit of extra care in prepping the van, but this is really when VANNAWT shines - the long adventures. So when Michelle reached out and said she was planning a trip to the southeast, I was excited to help her figure things out. It’s stressful hitting the road for length of time and Michelle was incredibly collaborative and helpful when it came to making sure she had everything she needed for her journey.Let me just say, I take great pride in making sure that VANNWT is in tiptop shape when I send her out, with regular safety checks and maintenance appointments, it’s just the very least we can do for our guests. So when I got the call from Michelle that one of the coach battery brackets had shaken loose on a bumpy road and that the battery had fallen out of its tray, you can imagine how mortified I was. And with her so far away, I could snese how vulnerable she must have felt. But instead of panicking, or even worse not noticing and causing even more damage, Michelle, with calmness and quick thinking, was able to flag someone down to help her get that battery back up into the tray, and then later was able to handle getting somebody out to secure it and make sure she was safe for her journey home.I can’t thank her enough, really. it’s absolutely the worst scenario an RV owner can imagine, having a guest experience that kind of emergency out on the road. That’s why having a guest as responsible and as level-headed as Michelle was essential, not only to getting her safely through a tough situation, but also never having to worry about whether the van was going to be ok, as well. I’ll be lucky if every future guest is even half as responsible and thoughtful as Michelle has been, and I can’t wait to have her back as a guest, if she’ll have us.
