TLDR; This van and host are the absolute best. Book it!This was an incredible experience that my boyfriend and I will never forget. I cannot recommend renting with Sage and Erica enough. Every little detail of this van and Erica’s extra gifts/amenities were so well thought out and memorable. She went above and beyond, offering to help us with plans when our camp spot fell through, did a really thorough walkthrough of the different parts of the van (as well as a really helpful manual too), and gifted us so many yummy snacks, fruits, comfy bathrobes, and homemade jam :).Even without the thoughtful amenities and additions, the van itself is so comfortable and well designed it instantly feels like home on wheels. There was more storage space than we knew what to do with, we loved the pullout sofa, and the bed and linens were super comfortable. We didn’t realize before going into it how much we’d enjoy cooking in the van—we had so much fun making meals and sipping coffee with the sliding door open with brand new views everyday. It also great to drive, too—and the double mirrors and backup camera makes you feel totally safe when getting out of spots or switching lanes (that said, we always went suuuuper slow around curves and turning into spots because she is carrying a ton of weight and you can feel it.)Erica was also SO communicative at a moments notice when we had questions about the van during our stay. She was always super helpful and made herself available whenever we needed her for random questions. As Erica mentions in the description, I don’t think this van is ideal for tall people, but depending on your comfort level for getting creative when it comes to sleeping is totally doable. My boyfriend is 6’2” and could comfortably stand inside, but ended up sleeping on the extra sofa cushions on the ground so he could stretch out while he slept - which he said was comfy.Other random things:
I went in with an understanding of how camper toilets work, it might be good to do some youtubing on how to do this before arriving to the van (Erica also walks through it in her manual.)Also, having taken van trips where I hadn’t planned at all on where to stay (which is sometimes unavoidable) I will say it did feel SO much less stressed booking campsites in advance and knowing where I was going to sleep every night. The trade off was taking the spontaneity out of where to travel to in the van, but given our limited time with Sage, it definitely felt worth it not having to think about where we were going to sleep every day.
