Lucky enough to do some long road trips around Europe and now can't wait to explore where I now call home: beautiful British Columbia!

We had such a great first van experience in John's off grid camper! Loved the extra long, comfortable bed for our long legs. We did a mix of provincial park camping, first come first serve and wild camping on crown land. This van was perfect for exploring,camping and parking in the towns/cities of Vancouver island. We would definitely book with John again on future trips!

It’s the perfect vehicle to get out and stretch your legs in BC. The van has everything you need. Paired with iOverlander app you’re good to go. John is super easy to communicate with and keeps the vehicle well maintained.

We had the time of our lives traveling in this van for two weeks across to Banff and Vancouver island. It is really roomy, easy to drive, and very cosy thanks to its insulation, warm lighting, and down blankets. Because of this, it does not get too hot or too cold like other vans. Has all the camping essentials that we needed. I always charged my laptop and worked out of the van (you do need starlink). Lots of storage space and a big bed with a fantastic mattress. Easy parking thanks to the backend camera. You need to use the mirrors to check your blind spot, as it does not have windows in the back. But we got used to it after the first day and felt secure driving it. Therefore, it is also really great for stealth camping, as it just looks like an ordinary car from the outside, which sometimes is handy in Canada. John is an exceptional host, he helped when there were issues with the outdoorsy app, was always reachable during the trip and so friendly. Next year we will be coming again!

Très discret et pratique pour se garer partout (où la loi l’autorise!). Facile à conduire. John nous a montré comment le conduire en faisant un petit tour de quartier, c’était rassurant.
La déco du van était cute en plus :) c’est vraiment pratique d’être indépendant grâce à l’eau et aux panneaux solaires. Il y a même le chauffage pour l’hiver mais honnêtement les deux grosses couettes en plume étaient suffisantes!

This is a fantastic converted 2012 Ford Econoline that served us very well for a three week road trip around BC and AB. We particularly liked how well-maintained the van was, with a comfortable bed, proper feather duvets and facilities such as a water tap, table, battery, stove and chairs which made our trip very comfortable. The van also drives excellently and is easy to manoeuvre. John was a great host, quick to respond to any issues or questions. We’d highly recommend this van and John as a host!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks in John's van, exploring BC and Alberta. The van is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed is super comfy and with a roof fan and heating, you can adjust to the perfect sleeping conditions accordingly! We loved being able to pull up at random spots, and in campsites and quickly put out the tables and chairs for some great outdoor dining (see pictures)! We even took the chairs down to the beach at our campsite in Tofino, as they were so quick to set up. John is friendly and a good communicator, and after a really helpful induction, was able to respond to a couple of ad-hoc queries while we were on the road! We look forward to renting again at some point in the future! Thanks John!

We rented John's van for a month-long voyage from Vancouver to Haida Gwaii and back. The van is a workhorse and everything aboard ran flawlessly throughout our trip of more than 3,000 kms. It is well equipped with the necessities for living independently on the road and we particularly liked the bed, which was super comfortable. We got great sleeps in some strange places! John is a super attentive host - always responded quickly to questions or comments and obviously has taken great care of this vehicle. We highly recommend the van and John as a host.

We had an amazing 10-day trip on Vancouver Island. John was a great host, very helpful and knowledgeable, gave us great advice. The campervan is reliable, very cozy and had everything we needed. We would definitely rent from John again.

John was an amazing host, when we needed to contact him he would reply almost instantly. His van was packed full of everything we needed, it had no issues whatsoever throughout our 4000+km journey over 29 days, it also came with such high quality camping gear, it felt like we were in a hotel every night. We couldn’t recommend John and his vans enough and would definitely be a return customer to John!

We had an amazing time in John's van. So well kitted out - had everything we needed. John was super helpful and responsive and the orientation when we picked the van up was really useful and got us used to driving before we headed off! We found some awesome spots to camp up around Squamish, Vancouver Island and Pemberton. Highly recommend this van and host - we will definitely be back!!
