About Amanda Shafer
We're Amanda and Andrew. We've spent the last 16 years camping in our 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon but recently purchased our 2022 Jay Flight SLX 174BH for a more comfortable camping experience now that we have two kiddos - Jack and Charli. Camping with kids is such a fun experience, only made easier with modern amenities. We hope you enjoy your camping experience in the Happy Glamper!

Amanda was an amazing host. The camper was fully stocked and ready to go right away. It even had things in the camper we never even thought of, which made the experience so wonderful. In the future, we would book with Amanda again right away. Our family had so much fun and our experience with the host helped make an amazing family memory of camping. These are amazing people. They are so helpful, kind, informative, chill, honest, and accommodating. The camper was everything she described, Amanda is super responsive and just an outstanding person. They went over everything very thoroughly for a first time renter, we were so thankful! We had an amazing trip and we couldn't have been happier renting from them!

Amanda was an amazing host, all around. The camper was in great shape and they do a thorough walk-through at checkout to ensure you are comfortable using all the systems. Would highly recommend and will definitely be renting for them again in the future.

Great trip (2 adults 2 kids and 1 dog)

Our family had such an amazing time with this camper. Absolutely loved it! Amanda and her husband were phenomenal hosts and made out experience outstanding. Perfect camper for a family trip, our 3yo thought it was the coolest thing ever. Would rent again and again.

This was my first experience camping with an RV and I'm not sure how I will manage without one again. The owners, Amanda and Andrew, were great, very responsive and even provided on site help with a couple of issues. The RV was clean and well taken care of with all the supplies that we needed, even a love seat camping chair and table. The beds were cozy and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home!
