About Laura Walker

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to look at the newest member of our family- Sojourn! Just a little background on who we are and why we embarked on this journey. We are an adventurous family of four who enjoy many outdoor activities such as, camping, kayaking, hiking, skiing and traveling across the country. We started our leisure pursuit with a travel trailer and have moved on to a drivable motor home with a few exciting trips in between. National Parks are one of our favorite destinations. Motor home traveling is one of the most comfortable and cost efficient ways to see the country with our two boys and 80lb Pyrenees. The memories and experiences we have created with our family traveling to Canada, Nova Scotia, Florida, Tennessee and Savannah Georgia, just to name a few, are priceless. Our new coach has all the comforts of home on wheels that we would like to share with you. And, the best part is we get to take our furry four legged friend along with us! Start your own traveling adventure and feel free to ask us for any advice or tips on campgrounds and globetrotting!

This was our family's first RV road trip. We traveled from Pennsylvania to Ohio for the solar eclipse, then to Kentucky and Virginia, with many stops and stays along the way. We chose this RV due to it's modern, luxurious features and amenities, and it was definitely worth it! The size was perfect for our family of four, and we were more than comfortable living in this space for a week. My husband's favorite features (as the driver) were how smooth the vehicle drove, how comfortable it was to drive for such a long distance, and the adaptive cruise control. We also appreciated the Apple CarPlay hookup, which made navigating a breeze. Our kids' loved the reclining lounge chairs and the overhead bunk. Very cozy! We were most impressed with how much storage space there was, how roomy the fridge was, and how comfortable the bed was! The bathroom was a great size (even for my 6'4" husband). Marc and Laura were wonderful hosts! They were available to answer our questions before and during our trip, which put us at ease to be able to enjoy our time together. They helped make our first experience a successful one! One we will never forget. We would definitely recommend this specific RV with these specific hosts to anyone looking for this size vehicle. As first time RV renters, Marc and Laura were the perfect host. RV was ready to go when we got there. They went over everything during the walk thru which made the set up so easy. The RV was so clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely rent from them again.

This is a really nice RV. We took a trip to Taughannock Falls State Park on Lake Cayuga, NY. This was our first time RV camping. We had a lot of questions. Laura and Marc were very helpful answering all of our questions before, during and after the trip. The Forest River YouTube link on the listing was also very helpful. The Mercedes chassis was easy to drive, especially with the adaptive cruise control and rear/side view cameras. Maneuvering into our campsite was no problem. Setting up camp only took a few minutes - one button for the slide-out and another button for the hydraulic self-leveling jacks - super easy. Hookups and gray/black water tank emptying was simple and intuitive. Interior was very clean and comfortable. I'm 6'4" and had no issues. We highly recommend - we would definitely rent this RV again!

I’ve rented a solid handful of times on outdoorsy, this was by far our best experience! The rv was immaculate, & was prepared & ready to go when I got there to pick it up! Marc & Laura were so kind & more than willing to help with the few questions we had. The queen bed was so comfortable it made me want to get a new mattress at home! I cannot recommend this RV enough! I I’ll be renting again & again from these guys! & if you read this - thanks again Marc & Laura, we had the best time - so much so, that I completely forgot to take pictures! Next time!

We spend the best 4 days on the road!!! Travelling by RV was the most comfortable and convenient way for our short but very busy trip. We started our travel in DE through Shenandoah National Park, VA, next Great Smoky Mountain National Park, TN to Georgia Aquarium as our final destination, and back to DE. Our temporary mobile home was equipped in everything the family of four could ever ask for, and beyond!!!! From kitchen amenities, its cooking equipment, through VERY comfortable murphy bed, BUNK bed, bathroom within your reach at any time, board games for kids, TVs, outdoor accessories, and much more. On top of that the comfort of driving RV was also one of the most important factors we considered our trip a HUGE success. It was truly a great experience!!
