About Tanvi's RV rentals

We love mountains. They inspire us, their magnanimity humbles us. We are avid birders, chasing them one chirp at a time. Our 3 year old enjoys the outdoors with us, and being able to do adventures with Winifred our Camper gives us an extra level of freedom and excitement. We want everyone to experience those feelings and that's why we chose to share our camper with others.

We rented the RV for 2 nights and everything worked well. We pretty much just used it for a portable room to sleep in - we were at a wedding venue where there was RV parking. The instructions when we picked it up were very good and we felt confident in how to operate everything. It is best used for 2 adults, it felt small when we were getting ready.

We had a great trip with Winifred! Ameya was a great host. Honestly we didn’t use a lot of things, the shower is very small (and so are we) but the rv sites we stayed in along the route were good for that. It was great for parking anywhere you would want to unlike a big rig so although it’s tight for space, there are pros and cons.

They were great hosts! Quick response and very laid back which made the travel experience a lot less stressful. They provided all the essentials needed for the road. The video in the booklet was super helpful for first time camper van users.

Five stars for Winifred and Superhosts Tanvi & Ameya! We have done a few rentals through Outdoorsy over the years as a family. This one has been the best! Started in Portland and went up the coast of Oregon, Washington, and took a ferry over to Victoria, BC. Tanvi & Ameya responded promptly to all questions. The van was clean and well stocked for an adventure, we were thankful for the heater a few nights during the trip! Smooth ride and a clear owners manual with pics on how to's for the van. We would recommend Winifred to all friends and family planning a trip to the PNW. Book now! You won't regret it! Aloha, Christina

We had a great time exploring the Oregon coast, as well as the Redwoods and Crater Lake! Winifred was just the right size for me and my husband. The van was clean and cozy, and relatively simple to run. The Murphy bed was very comfortable, and we slept well every night! The van had all of the amenities we needed. Tanvi and Ameya were excellent hosts, with great communication and a full instruction book on how to run all of the systems. We would definitely take Winifred back out on the road if we ever head back this way!

Highly recommend Winifred, easy to drive through Oregon’s mountains, the solar powered fridge made it really convenient to grocery shop and cook. Tanvi and Ameya were 5-star hosts as well- the RV is well stocked with cooking essentials- including a full range of spices, there are a lot of conveniently included items that made it feel like you were the owner. The check in and check out process was smooth. Had an excellent first time experience in an RV!

Tanvi and Ameya were super nice and helpful. Made everything easy from pick up to explanations and drop off procedure. Van was very well stocked. Even had some extra gifts just for our trip. Van is in really good shape. Enjoyed our time with Winifred.

We had an amazing experience on this trip. Our host was very gracious and had extras in the van for us like snacks, fire starters, and drinking water. We thought the van was roomy for 2 people and the pop top was a lovely area for resting. We never did anything like this before and the training was helpful to make us more comfortable with the van. Sadly as we were about to return the van, the rear window smashed but our host was very kind and understanding despite the inconvenience. I would give more stars if I could.

Tanvi and Ameya were EXCELLENT hosts! We had SO MUCH fun using their van to drive down the Oregon coast. They provide a VERY thorough description of how everything works prior to arrival, and Ameya took great care explaining everything to us in person when we arrived.
The van was in fantastic shape- and we would definitely book it again next time we come this direction. THANK YOU TANVI AND AMEYA!

What an unforgettable experience! Our time in the campervan, exploring parts of Oregon and Washington, was an absolute dream!The van itself is stocked with everything you can think of! We were so impressed with the organization and inclusions, making settling in a breeze. For our week+ long adventure, we added on the Yeti cooler, which was perfect for cold drinks, and the frigde had ample space for the rest of our provisions. We also added the pop up canopy, which was perfect for the two days we were in the full sun. Both items were in wonderful shape.

We enjoyed the van for our women's roadtrip. Everything worked perfectly and the communication was perfect. This van has everything you could ever need....just bring food and clothes! It was well stocked and the manual and direction was A+. The Grey and black water was easy and conventional to dump.
I hope to rent it again next year and anytime I'm in Oregon!!! Thank you so much!

Our family had the best week of adventures in Winifred - Ameya is a great host! Quick communication, thorough information, and the van was perfect! The kids loved sleeping in the pop up, and both beds were comfortable - we all got great sleep! This was our first time renting a camper van and everything went well thanks to all the information provided to us! We will never forget this trip!

Unforgettable Adventure in Winifred -A Perfect Van RV Rental Experience!My husband and I recently embarked on our first van RV adventure through eastern Oregon, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience thanks to the incredible rental provided by Ameya. From picking up Winifred to returning her home, everything about this rental was exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing and memorable travel experience. The Rv van named Winifred, was an absolute gem. Well-equipped and meticulously maintained, it felt like a cozy home away from home. The interior was thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for our journey, making it feel just like staying in a well-appointed Airbnb. From the comfortable sleeping area to the compact kitchenette, Winefred had it all. So many lovely decorations, including beautiful interior accent lights, and artwork in the bathroom, all tastefully done. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and accessible throughout the rental process (we even had an app to access all the how to’s). They provided us with all the necessary information and instructions to ensure a smooth and worry-free trip. Their friendly demeanor and helpful tips added an extra layer of comfort to our journey, knowing that they were just a message away if we needed anything. We drove Winifred all over eastern Oregon, exploring breathtaking landscapes and charming towns along the way. The van was a joy to drive, offering a smooth and comfortable ride wherever we went. Whether we were cruising along scenic highways or parked for the night under the starlit sky, Winifred provided the perfect base for our adventures. We can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my time in Winifred. This van RV rental experience opened our eyes to a whole new way of traveling, and I'm already planning my next adventure. We had an amazing time! Ameya has packed Winifred with everything you could possibly need for your trip! We’re used to driving a compact car but Winifred was easy to learn how to handle. We spent the nights both in the fold out bed and the roof top tent and thought both were comfortable. Was worried about figuring out how to use all of the utilities since this was our first time driving a camper van but ultimately found it to be super easy to use (thanks to the provided guide and initial walk through done by Ameya). Overall a wonderful experience!

Our rental experience was above and beyond anything we expected. Ameya was a wonderful host, very thorough with the tutorial at the beginning of the rental process and communication was flawless. Family of 4, with 2 teen girls( a little tight) but we made out ok. The camper is equipped 100% with what you need, we rented it for 5 nights and we wanted for absolutely nothing. The ride was very comfortable and extremely clean and furnished with all you need. We didn’t make use of the shower/toilet much, but when we did we were so happy it was there! The only thing we regret is not getting a site with electrical, sadly we had to make do with a tent site so unfortunately we had to use the generator a few times. No big deal.
We explored the coast from Astoria to Lincoln City and a little beyond, we had a wonderful time and made some great memories. Would rent again in a heartbeat next time we go to Oregon. Thank you Ameya!

Ameya is the best host, the nicest guy. Communication was perfect. Winifred was setup with all we needed to have a wonderful roadtrip that started in Portland and took us up through Washington to “Twin Peaks” and “Twilight” territories (must-sees for our daughter) staying at Washington State Parks and a VRBO along the way. We saw A LOT in one short week. Breathtaking scenery. Easy to follow instructions for maintenance and comfort while traveling took the stress out of the trip. . We’re from New Hampshire. If we ever make it back up to the PNW, we would definitely rent this van again.
