Things started off well, but then the AC stopped working and they didn't respond to my messages, leaving us with a camper we couldn't use for 2 out of the 6 days we'd paid for. Thankfully we were only using it as extra space for guests at our home and we were able to move them to a local hotel. Three days after they picked it up, and after I reached out to Outdoorsy about the situation, the owners finally messaged me about the AC situation. They offered no apology for, or acknowledgement of, their lack of communication or that we were have trouble with their trailer. Rather, their response simply stated that it worked fine for them for 30 minutes and therefore the problem was at our end. Thirty minutes is not 6 days, and it doesn't explain how/why it worked fine for 2 days and then its performance deteriorated until it became completely inoperable by the 4th day. I powered the trailer exactly as was provided for me to do by using the adaptor they supplied, and we took care that the AC was the only electrical feature being used. After discussing the situation with the representative at Outdoorsy, we concluded that a refund for the 2 days we couldn't use the camper was a reasonable expectation, but it's now been another 3 days since my last message to the owner and they are again choosing to not respond. Regardless of where the fault lies with the performance of the AC, the lack of response while we were having issues coupled with a complete absence of hospitality should be a concern for anyone looking to rent from them.

We’re from Portland, OR. This was our 5th year renting with Bridget and Alex. I think we’ve rented nearly all their campers. We’ve enjoyed renting with them. They make it easy for us to go to Country Fest by offering delivery, especially since we’re traveling from the West coast.

Freedom was cute, clean & perfect for our trip! Communication with the owners was fluid. Alex was absolutely amazing! He drove out to the site and saved us when we locked ourselves out of the RV! MVP all the way!! We highly recommend renting from these owners and are already making plans for next year with Freedom!
