We had a great trip! The van drove well, we used 4x4 a few times and felt confident the entire time. It was simple to use; we've rented vans w/ complicated electronics, everything was easy and straightforward. We loved the propane-powered burners, the nice-sized fridge, and the bed!
Jesse was an great communicator, and the pickup and drop-off process was highly flexible and easy.
We did encounter a few issues during our trip that future renters should keep in mind:
Roof Leak: During a rainstorm night 1 first night the van started leaking towards the back doors, dripping directly onto the bed. We managed by putting bowls down and had to tarp the top of the van for the rest of the trip. Please make sure the roof seal has been repaired.
Awning: The awning was broken which was a bummer
Shower: We couldn't get the shower to work properly, it just dripped out. It might have been user error, but it is worth double-checking.
Stocked Items: While the van was heavily stocked, the items felt a bit random (eg. there were 5 salt shakers). We ended up using mostly our own camping and kitchen gear just to keep it simple.
Despite these issues, it's a solid van and we enjoyed our time on the road.

Loved the van, it was perfect for my partner and I to stay in for a week going up the California coast! Super cozy, and user friendly! The host was great too! Super easy clear communication throughout the trip.

My partner and I rented this camper van for a week to explore Arizona, and while we did have a good time, there were several issues we encountered and were forced to contend with, which definitely put a damper on the trip. One smaller thing to note was that based on the reviews we had expected it to be much better outfitted than it turned out to be. The contents really seem to be a compilation of very random items previous guests have found essential, while many of the basic necessities were missing. (For example, we found ourselves with 3 pairs of scissors, but no hand/dish soap.)

Jesse was very communicative and the vehicle was well equipped. We had a good experience generally. With the addition of detailed instructions on how to stop the battery system from failing our trip would have been great. Spyglass Phil drives really well and the layout internally works well.

First of all, the owner is incredibly kind and accommodating, which made pick up and drop off so easy since we were coming from out of town and dealing with flight departures and things of that sort. Second of all, this camper van is better equipped than any Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Anything you could possibly need is right there ready to be used. It’s great on gas, easy to power up, goes anywhere you need to go, everything about this was an amazing experience.

We had a great time in this van, and the Fowler’s pick-up and drop-off was super easy. We would love to rent this van again sometime if we get to visit the area again. The build of this van is top notch, which made it feel like a real treat to experience.

The camper van was perfect for our trip to Sedona. Pickup and drop off was easy and flexible. The host and the person who assisted with pickup were both very friendly. Would recommend!

Everything you need for a proper camper van adventure! I've rented vans on Outdoorsy 4 times now and this was by far the best experience yet. The van itself is in great condition, and has everything you need, like pots, cutlery, tableware, salt/pepper, camp chairs & table, french press, two burner stove with propane, beautiful lighting, lots of storage, and more!
