Dale is a long term naturalist-educator who loves exploring and studying about the out of doors! My husband Gordon and I hike and bike through 4 the seasons here on the Mendocino Coast. We'd love to share our Winnebago Travato travel van with you so you can build some awesome adventures !

I had an absolutely wonderful experience renting from Dale & Gordon. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. The Travato was fully outfitted with everything I needed. I truly just had to bring food and drinks. It felt like a comfortable home on wheels for me and my dog. Even with some rainy weather, we stayed cozy and relaxed inside. I was able to do some work with my Starlink mini propped on the dash. As a first-time RV/van driver, I really appreciated the thorough orientation. Gordon explained everything clearly and made sure I felt confident before heading out. The van itself is very intuitive to use and thoughtfully designed, making travel feel simple. I was able to get everywhere I wanted to go and easily find parking for hikes, which made the trip even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated their generosity and hospitality throughout the experience, and I cant’t wait to rent from them again. Highly recommend!

We had a great trip with everything we needed on the rig. Dale and Gordon are easy to work with, and provided thoughtful support for our first RV trip in many years. We came home excited about going out again.!

The campervan is perfect. Super comfortable bed, easy to drive, park and get gas even as a first time campervan driver. Gordon and Dale are responsive and thorough with instructions. Great to work with. We can't wait to go again!

Dale and Gordon are the nicest people and I would highly recommend renting from them. The van was very clean, organized, fully supplied and easy to drive. Orientation was detailed and all questions were thoroughly answered. Communication was clear and messages were responded to very promptly. A top notch experience with awesome owners!!

This was our first camper van trip and to say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Dale and Gordon were wonderful "hosts." Quick to respond to questions and offer perfect recommendations. We can't wait to do it again. Highly recommend!

Great hosts. Gordon explained how everything worked and having the manual helped when I had a question about the outside power supply. It was my first time renting a camper van.
I left my earbuds in the van and Gordon and Dale were quick to find them and I arranges for someone to pick them up at their home.
We had great weather at Fort Bragg and having the van fully stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans was appreciated.

We had the best time on our trip. Dale’s van came so well equipped with everything we needed which made your adventure so much smoother. The van was so clean and easy to use. I highly recommend taking a van up the 1 in Northern California. So much beauty to be enjoyed. I’m excited to do it again.

Dale and Gordon were fantastic hosts and our trip in their Travato will never be forgotten. We explored redwoods up in Humboldt area (Burlington Campground) as well as many magnificent locations along the coast north of Fort Bragg. Both Dale and Gordon were so responsive and answered all of our questions we had during the planning stages of our trip. Their van definitely had positive vibes...and we hope we added some! There is a good chance we will rent this van again...if you have been thinking about doing it...just do it! It is one of the best ways to travel and really get out in the expansive beauty of Northern California.

The vehicle was exactly as described and everything worked well. Dale and Gordon couldn't have been nicer - they gave us a thorough walk through, patiently answered all questions before and during our trip, and even gave us home made cookies before we headed out! The power batteries also charge when you drive, which was essential in our case given that we had very little sun nor used campgrounds during our trip. Overall, excellent experience!

Gordon and Dale's RV is really well kitted out and is a really quiet to drive. We stayed in it for a week long trip and it had everything we needed, including a big battery so it never felt like we were going to run low!
