About Zach & Julie Dunlap
Hi there! We’re the Dunlaps (AKA Funlaps!)—an adventurous Alaskan family who loves camping, fishing, and exploring the outdoors whenever we can. When we’re not busy with our day jobs or chasing after our two small kiddos, you’ll find us out making the most of Alaska’s wild beauty. We started renting out our three campervans to help others experience the same kind of fun and freedom we enjoy. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or an epic road trip, we’re here to help make it unforgettable. We love sharing our favorite routes, campsites, and hidden gems—so if you need tips or recommendations, or have general questions about traveling to/through Alaska, just ask! The Vanimal treated our family very well on our camping trip to Seward. Hopefully can rent it again for some more family adventures. Highly recommend.

The Vanimal was spotless, comfortable, and super fun to drive around! My wife and I had such a great experience in Alaska and the Vanimal made it that much better. I would recommend this van to anyone!

We recently took a 7 day trip to Alaska and Van Goh made the trip perfect! Julie and Zach were incredibly helpful throughout the whole trip giving great recommendations. Pickup and drop off were a breeze. The van had everything we needed to camp comfortably, and then some!

My fiancée and I had a great week driving around the Kenai Peninsula in Vanimal. Zach and Julie were fantastic hosts and so responsive to questions. Can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful time touring around AK in Clifford. The van was well stocked and comfortable for our longer drives. Julie was a great host and easy to communicate with.

Julie and Zach are very nice, they gave us lots of advices and helps during our trip at Alaska! We drove to Seward, Homer and Denali National Park and viewed the most beautiful places of Alaska, we all enjoy the trip and will definitely come back again in the future. Thanks Julie! Thanks Zach!

This was my first time in a camper van or RV, and it exceeded expectations in every way. Zach and Julie were excellent communicators both leading up to the trip and during the van pickup process, and they went above and beyond to make this a smooth and enjoyable trip for my father and I. All we needed to pack were our clothes, and aside from a grocery stop on our way to Denali, every other thing we needed was thoughtfully supplied. Within hours of returning home, my extended family was already excitedly discussing/scheming towards a future trip with a caravan of camper vans!

It was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and got great gas mileage. Julie and Zach were wonderful to work with and flexible with our pick up and return. They were extremely prompt with answering any questions we had. We had an amazing vacation and loved exploring Alaska!!

The RV was great. We really enjoyed it. It was clean, spacious and perfect for our Alaska trip. Plus the window shades really came in handy. Our host was friendly, helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Julie was the BEST. Absolutely went above and beyond to make it an easy trip for us. She was extremely accessible and answered so many questions. The van was a great fit for our family of four. It’s very well equipped with all the essentials and ran great. We used it for a long weekend in Homer at an RV park and it was ideal. We cooked the whole weekend and found everything we needed in the kitchen gear. The provided towels, linens, and blankets made packing much easier. Would totally recommend renting from Julie!

Julie was a great host! She and her husband were very easy to work with and very laid-back about the process. They have everything in the van that you would need for an enjoyable time other than your own toileteries, clothes and food. They made this first experience in a camper van a very enjoyable one.

We took the Vanimal up to Denali National Park. We camped in May and were super cozy with heat and all of the van amenities. The van design worked well for our family of four. Julie and Zach were amazing hosts and outfitted us with all the Alaska essentials for our trip.
