Malheureusement, nous avons constaté à notre arrivée que le van était en piteuse état. Les portières ne fonctionnaient pas, le pare-brise cassé à plusieurs endroits et la carrosserie déglinguée. C'était très différent des photos. Le réservoir d'essence vide et plusieurs morceaux de vaisselle sales. La glacière était minuscule ce qui nous a obligé à devoir constamment retourner faire des courses. Nous avons aussi dû acheter du matériel afin de pouvoir cuisiner convenablement.

First, the good: Junjie was great at keeping in touch, and quick to respond. The camper van is old (2006) and bare-bones, but that's fine. It's what we expected from the listing. The engine ran fine, and the bed was okay. Basic camping supplies were included and adequate.
The not-good: We arrived in Cochrane to collect the camper van in the middle of a rainstorm. Junjie was outside, trying to patch a hole in the roof above the passenger door that was allowing water to pour onto the floor and the passenger seat. I guess it hadn't rained in a while, so this significant leak had escaped notice? It couldn't be fixed in the rain, so we jammed a dishtowel in the hole and went to a dollar store to buy microfibre clothes to keep the rain out in future.
That's when I realized the headlights weren't working. At all. But we had a family gathering to get to and it was midday, so we had no option but to drive off in the camper van.
Junjie was apologetic about the hole in the roof and no-headlights issue, but did not offer to reduce the rental cost to compensate for the inconvenience.
These were not small issues, and it's concerning that the van was made available in this condition.

Notre voyage s’est parfaitement bien passé. Nous avons loué le van pour 11 nuits. Le van est ancien mais tient très bien la route. Dedans tout est fait pour qu’on s’y sente bien. Il ya le nécessaire pour cuisiner, recharger les téléphones, laver la vaisselle. Nous avons eu des nuits froides dehors mais la couette est vraiment bien bien chaude. Je recommande à 100% ce van.

Overall, Junjie's van has lots of potential, but I was a bit disappointed on our trip due to a few issues that were not made clear prior to picking up the van. First, the blower in the dash that blows air for the A/C and heat is not operative, so windows down was the only option for fresh air while driving. Second, the roof vent fan was not operative, so no fresh air while sleeping. Third, the water pump was not operative, and the provided fresh water container was leaking. Lastly, the provided pillows were camping pillows that were very thin and firm, we ended up buying our own pillows to have a better nights sleep. Small point too, the provided window covers were not very secure with the velcro system, had to adjust them frequently to keep them in place. I definitely recommend making sure these items are fixed before the next guest. If so, the van will be a very fun and comfortable rig to explore the Canadian Rockies!

Very easy to communicate with the host :) Mattress is a bit firm, recommend bringing a sleeping pad for more confort. Overall, the car is in a good state!

Super van pour découvrir les Rocheuses canadiennes : confortable, agréable à conduire et globalement bien équipé. Le rapport qualité-prix est très intéressant et nous le recommandons sans hésiter.

Such a great way to see the Rockies! My partner and I booked the van to visit Banff, Jasper, and Yoho. The included mileage covered our entire trip and was much more affordable than the big company rentals. Van was clean, comfortable, and no mechanical issues. The lower bed was big enough for both of us to sleep comfortably enough and we were able to use the upper for storage. Junjie was super helpful, explained everything when we picked up the van, and was quick to respond to any questions we had during our trip. Drop off was also really smooth and easy. The rental also included the Park Pass which gave us entry to all 3 parks, plus the Banff museums and the cave and basin. Overall, such a great find for our trip and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

Me and my best friend of 20+ years took a trip to visit the mountains. We had the best time! The van was so cute. It was adequately equipped with the essentials. We did not use the water or the portable shower because we stayed in campgrounds. The propane stove was definitely handy. There is no a/c or heat really so sometimes defrosting the windows became an issue. We got a good mix of weather on our trip. A couple of really warm days, rainy days and some down right cold ones. So, with that being said, just come prepared! The owner of the van also has a cute little Airbnb, which we stayed in the night before picking up the van. Highly reccomend it as well! The host was great and the Outdoorsy app/site is easy to use for bookings.

Good host who took care of the van very well. Van ran well and host was helpful to book us a taxi back to the airport!
