Matthew was a great host. Great communication and easy pickup and return. Camper was virtually new and meet our needs of a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. Would definitely rent from Matthew and this camper again.

Pickup was easy to find. Walk through of functionality was very thorough. Was clean and ready to go. Interior was spacious with the bump out out.

Matthew's travel trailer was perfect for our family adventure. The trailer is new (2024) and has all of the features one could hope for. Thoughtful touches like board games, ground coffee with coffee making gear, and the proper equipment for setting up the trailer, made our first trailer camping experience excellent!
I pulled the trailer (and all of our gear) with our 2016 Toyota Tundra with 9100 lb max towing capacity. It did just fine but struggled slowly up mountain passes. Average fuel economy was about 8 mpg, ouch! Still, we got to and from our destination smoothly and safely. The torque of a diesel motor would be ideal, but any truck with similar towing capacity and a trailer brake controller will do just fine.
We had access to well water with a hose and a 120 V extension cord which ran everything perfectly, including fridge and A/C. The solar panels & battery were enough to power lights, A/C, and fridge just fine when not plugged in to auxiliary power. The master bed memory foam mattress was very comfortable and the heater worked well on cold mornings. There is ample storage for clothes and gear, and the kitchen was stocked with everything to make meals. We did not use the exterior stove and sink, but it's setup well for outdoor meal prep. The hosts thought of everything, including camp chairs, a folding table, and plenty of pillows and blankets. There is even a custom-made child gate for the top bunk for toddlers!
Pick up, drop off, and communication with Matthew was smooth and easy. He was prompt to respond to messages through the Outdoorsy app and gave me a thorough orientation at pick up.
10/10, and I highly recommend. We will be renting from Matthew again for our next family adventure!

My recent trip with the 2024 Surveyor Legend travel trailer was nothing short of spectacular. Towing it with my Toyota Tundra, we embarked on an unforgettable journey along I-70, visiting the stunning Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and the picturesque town of Aspen.
