Hello fellow campers! My name is Derek, along with my wife Mikayla & our fur child, Krewe the Goldendoodle! We love our camping trips & want to share it with others when we are not camping and what better way to do that than with Outdoorsy?! Using Outdoorsy was fairly easy to book a local RV, but the steps required to get our account set-up and approved were a bit vague and a bit of a headache, but eventually we got it all figured out.
Host had pretty good communication about pick up and drop off and when we couldn't get things to work.As first-time RVers, the host had everything we needed and unit was clean; however, we came to the conclusion based on truck handling on the drive to our campsite versus the drive home that the tank must not have been emptied by the previous renter. Also, the grey water tank backed up within about 24 hours of light usage.
A few things advertised in the unit did not work - outdoor cooking and oven and rented (extra $30 expense) external brake control.
Overall, it was a fine experience - we all had a great time despite the hiccups. We'd definitely do it again and are looking forward to more "glamping" trips in the future especially now that we know what additional things to bring, and specifics to ask about prior to renting, etc.
