My family and I rented Elmer’s van for our very first camping trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Before the trip, I explained to Elmer that we were taking our toddler camping for the first time and shared where we were headed and what we had planned. He was incredibly helpful from the start. At pickup, he gave me a thorough walkthrough of the van and made sure I was comfortable with everything before we left. He even included a few extra things he thought would be helpful for our first camping trip, which we really appreciated.The van was exceptionally clean and completely ready to go. The bed was made, and it was stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and everything we needed. Having a shower and toilet was also a huge plus, especially traveling with a toddler.The van was perfect for our family of three. We all slept comfortably, our toddler’s car seat fit perfectly, and there is seating for a family of four. It was also surprisingly easy and comfortable to drive. I never felt uncomfortable behind the wheel, even being my first time driving a Sprinter camper van.We ended up having such a great time that we extended our camping trip an extra day. Elmer was extremely responsive and made extending the rental simple. Drop off was just as easy, with a straightforward checklist and great communication.I can’t recommend Elmer and his van enough. He helped make our family’s first camping trip an experience we’ll always remember. We’ll absolutely rent from him again, and I’ve already recommended him to friends who want to try a Sprinter camper van.Five stars.
