About Gabe

Hello fellow adventurers! My name is Gabe, and I'd love to be your host. My passion for hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing has taken me across the globe. Along the way, I've learned that the journey is just as important as the destination. My first RV was a '78 Minnie Winnie with 200k miles on it. On my first cross-USA trip, starting in California, she broke down in Nevada :) So I set my sights on a more reliable vehicle: the Sprinter Van! Ready for the next chapter, I built out and lived in a Sprinter van for two years, crisscrossing the USA and discovering hidden gems. That hands-on experience taught me what matters in van life: smart design, reliability, and maximizing every square inch. My latest Sprinter, the one listed, represents the culmination of that knowledge. I designed it and had it professionally converted by a company that specializes in Sprinter conversions. Every detail reflects real-world experience and an understanding of what adventurers need on the road.
