My wife and I have always wanted to go on an RV trip. This was our first one. We could not have made a better choice of RV than Christian Sandmann's 2020 Winnebago Porto 24P. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our small dog. It was loaded with amenities that made us feel comfortable.Before we left on our trip, Christian gave us a thorough orientation of the RV and made sure we were comfortable with what we needed to do. And, when we had a question or two, he was right there to provide swift answers. He even sent me the manual in advance so i could get acquainted with the equipment in advance.
It was easy to drive - my wife did all the driving and I navigated using one of the RV nav apps that kept us off roads with low bridges, etc.We had planned a schedule that included one night at an RV park and two nights on different farmland, but when we got to the first night's farm, we could not level the RV, the land sloped too much - at least I, a novice, couldn't find the right spot. So we vacated that plan and found another RV park and stayed there 2 nights. For first-timers like us, we found that to be a better option - especially because there are so many veteran RVers around that when they walked by and started up a conversation, it was easy to ask for advice. Being alone on farmland might work for a more experienced RVer, not for first-time folks.

We enjoyed an excellent 8 day vacation with Christian's RV. When we picked it up he gave us a thorough, careful explanation of all of the necessary functions of the RV. He was very kind and polite. If we had a question for him he answered it immediately and well. Finally, upon returning he asked us about our vacation and seemed genuinely interested in hearing about it. An overall great vacation! We highly recommend renting Christian's vehicle.

Christian was thorough and patient explaining his RV, and was very friendly and welcoming. The RV itself was great. Roomy, clean, and easy to operate - just as advertised. The generator performed perfectly when a campsite accidently shut off our electric feed. We had a great time. Highly recommended!

Christian Sandmann is a friendly, meticulous and detail oriented owner, and the Winnebago Porto we rented from him reflects that.
The orientation was well presented and THOROUGH. This was our first rv rental. We own a boat that sleeps six so there are certain systems similarities.The Porto is very comfortable to drive and handles well for an RV in my opinion. As with my boat, the size makes it more susceptible to cross winds, however there is a built in system in the Mercedes chassis to mitigate this. It was a bit jarring the one time it kicked in, but it works.
Crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge where one would expect crosswinds, there were none that day. We were "surprised" driving through an area with flat farm fields on either side.
The Porto has an expanding section, that permits access to the bathroom and kitchen while in travel mode, and a very comfortable bed that is accessed once the rig is parked and expanded.
There are solar cells and a diesel generator to increase over nighting options.
Christian has included high quality cookware, plates, silverware and cups. We brought our Keurig from our boat, as there is only a Melitta filter cone and filters on board.
In closing, we had a wonderful time near Baltimore and on Chincoteague Island. We rented bikes bikes and rode to nearby Asseteague where there is known to be a herd of wild horses, a major tourist attraction. We did not see any horses, but there was some "evidence" of them on the bike trail.
