Max was great. The trailer was clean when we picked it up and he gave a complete demonstration of its usage. It was perfect for our stay at Ft. Stevens campground.

Great trailer, well equipped and easy to tow. The host was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Only negative was the battery life as it only lasted one day, even trying to use minimal power. If you don’t have power hookups where you are camping, plan on bringing a generator or dry camping. Otherwise, fun little trailer and a good value.

Super easy experience picking up and dropping off, and Mac was always very responsive to messages. The trailer was easy to operate, a cinch to tow, and lovely to sleep in. A+ all around!

Max lied about the condition of the RV. When we met him to check it a week and a half prior to our rental, we were clear that we needed hot showers and a refrigerator. Of course, the fridge had ”just broken” and a new one was on order. Max promised a fridge or a fridge cooler. The day prior to pick up, we contacted him to confirm the time (which he changed multiple times) and inquired about the fridge. He informed us we were out of luck. When pressed that he had promised a fridge, he agreed to remedy the issue. His fix was to rig up some dangerous, exposed wiring for a dorm fridge that almost completely blocked access to the back bedroom. Not only is that inconvenient, it’s a fire hazard due to exposed wiring and also because it would block egress if the RV caught on fire. Upon arrival at the campsite, we noticed that the RV was having issues heating the water tank (which was full). In the middle of the first night, the electricity stopped working—leaving us without heat, lights, and hot water for the rest of our trip. Max initially tried blaming us for the malfunction when we tried reaching out to him. We informed him that we were camping with several experienced RV owners and no e could fix the issue. He then suggested we purchase a new deep cycle battery because, “that’s usually what I have people do”. I refused to do so because the trip before us left a review saying they had just bought a battery. When I confronted him about this, he admitted it was an ongoing problem that he had been aware of for awhile now. Despite knowing that the RV is not in working order, he is renting it out still and advertising it as being in full working order. Aside from that, the RV was filthy upon pick up, the grey & black water had not been emptied, and the propane tank was only 1/3 of the way full. When we requested a refund, Max refused because, “It’s a 22 year old RV—what do you expect?!” I expected it to be in working order and in the condition it was advertised as at booking. It was far from that.

Max was great, set up the teardrop and everything was ready to go when we got there. He was flexible with the pick up and drop off which was a great bonus, nothing but positive things to say, would like to work with him again in the future.
