I highly recommend the coach, clean, well appointed. We went from San Diego to Sacramento and back with a couple of night over stops in between. Drove like a charm, it was cold and all the internal systems worked as advertised - we stayed warm and enjoyed the comforts that this coach provides. Donna and Paul are absolutely the best to work with, very responsive and easy to work with.

Value not achievedWe are regular renters of RV’s – this trip came up short. Donna and Paul were very nice and responsive. However, for the reasons below we do not believe we got the value promised on this trip:
1 Damage to the RV – I rented this RV because it was a 2018 and one of the newer models available. I had bad experiences renting older motorhomes (tire blow out, batteries not holding a charge); however, this RV had been in a significant accident at Burning Man and no repairs had been made before my rental. It is my belief that this caused the entire RV to be ‘temperamental’ so that some of the functions did not work consistently. A large scrape down the entire right side of the RV was also visible and looked bad – but did not affect the operation.
2 Slideouts – I arrived to inspect the RV and discovered that the back of the RV had significant damage because it bottomed-out, causing cracks up and down the back – that got worse during our trip; the damage also caused one slideout to not work so at the beginning 1 of 4 slideouts did not work. On the trip there was rain for days over Thanksgiving and the main slideout had a major leak above the large sofa bed so that slideout could not be used on our trip. That meant that only 2 of the 4 slideouts worked.
3 GFI circuit – I was told a circuit breaker would occasionally trip and would need to be reset in order for the coffee maker to work. Well it happened every day – time to fix something like this on an RV being rented.
4 Wifi – it was represented in the Outdoorsy description of the RV that it had wifi but I learned that it meant that if you brought a cell phone that could be converted to a hotspot – then you had wifi.
5 “Fully Loaded” – it was represented that this RV was “fully loaded” and all that you had to bring was your clothes and food – but there were only 6 plates (the RV sleeps 8) and 4 bowls. Also there were no wine glasses and no coffee cups. Not only was this insufficient for our family of 4, but it took away from the trip we planned over the Thanksgiving holiday entertaining our relatives in the RV. Also there were insufficient cooking tools, spatulas, serving pieces.
6 BBQ – it was represented that there was a BBQ but it turns out it was an outdoor cooktop – no way to grill meat – and no BBQ tools were provided.
7 Furnace/Fireplace – the heater was temperamental, getting up in the night to turn it on was a challenge and after 6 hours it would raise the temperature from 54 degrees to 59 degrees. The fireplace would continually shut off automatically. Not enough blankets, which were needed because the heater was not working. My guess is that this relates to the accident at Burning Man.
8 Cooktop and Oven – first it only has 2 burners, and it was difficult to turn on these burners, we could do it but sometimes it would not work. The oven was a microwave that took no metal dishes, it had “convection” but we didn’t have adequate instructions on how to use it so were unable to.
9 Washer/Dryer – it was represented that we had a washer/dryer available – so we took fewer clothes – only to find out that the washer/dryer were taken out of the RV due to the prior accident.
10 Flashers – the flashers on the RV were not easy to turn off.
11 Insurance – I learned that Outdoorsy requires you to use their insurance on all trips (I had previously obtained a rider from my own insurance company at much less cost). This additional “Peace of Mind” insurance cost $85 per day. Very expensive insurance and it comes with a $3,000 deductible. You don’t find any of this out until you have committed to reserving any RV in Outdoorsy. This became significant because we had a very minor ding to one of the storage doors when parking the RV (likely a few hundred dollars to repair – less than our loss in value for all of the other inconveniences). The claim was adjusted through Outdoorsy and we were forced to pay for a repair that cost us both the deductible and our $1000 security deposit, and had no opportunity to have the claim adjusted on our own. We assume that other repairs, which would be extensive from the other 2 previous accidents were rolled into our claim in some manner.
12 Donna offered us $200 refund to address our issues with the RV not being as represented, but she has not sent a check and it has been weeks.

Recently re-rented the coach for a trip from S.D. up to Sacramento and back. Ran into some weather. That's germane as we used all of the available systems aboard as we ran into heavy rain, a bit of snow over the grapevine. All worked well, we couldn't be happier. Donna has been supportive and helped make this trip a success for me and my family.

We took Donna's RV with a group of 6 people.
The RV came fully stocked with e everything we needed. The entire is super lux and comfortable.
The diesel engine and generator lasted so long we didnt need to refill for 5days while the RV was docked.
Donna was very responsive and accommodating.
We would love to rent this RV again.

We couldn't be more happy with our experience, Donna has been flexible, patient and very responsive, she gets 5 stars from me. In terms of the coach, we had zero problems, which as a frequent RV renter can be unusual. The coach was well appointed and very comfortable, Donna makes sure its well stocked and ready to go. I am going to highly recommend you give them and their coach a try.
