About Heather's RV rentals

We're competitive skydivers and bought this primarily to attend skydiving events. But we also love snowboarding, camping, and exploring the pacific northwest. Our chiweenie often travels with us but we leave our other animals at home (we rescue farm animals). I'm a business attorney who created my firm to be entirely location-independent. My clients range from San Diego up through Redding, CA and everywhere in between. *Outdoorsy sets the default to "available" for any time period not rented through this app. So, dates may show as "available" when we're in the process of negotiating dates with a renter but before they're confirmed, or when we're using it but haven't had a chance to update our precise travel dates. For these reasons, we do not allow InstantBook, but instead have a conversation with prospective renters prior to approval (we do this also for our peace of mind). We do our best to be responsive but have full time jobs and cannot always respond immediately.

Very nice vehicle. There was flexibility on pick up and it was ready and clean when I arrived. Videos were available to learn how to use some of the features and my questions were answered and I was shown how to do a few items as I requested during pickup. During the trip I had one question and it was answered promptly. The vehicle itself was great. I was able to stay without connections several nights and had light and power to drive the stovetop, microwave, and heat - although the heat didn't seem to work as much as I'd expected it to. I slept on the couch sideways instead of fully making the bed (I'm short enough for this to work). I did put a REI inflatable sleep pad over and it was super comfortable.

My family and I rented Heather's RV for a week long trip up through Oregon. Being our first RV experience, it took us a little bit to get used to the controls. Once we were familiar with everything things were great. Heather was very responsive when we had questions about certain functions of the RV. Pick up and drop off was easy. We would definitely rent from Heather again.

Heather was great to deal with. She replied promptly to all my questions/requests. The video's that we were requested to view prior to pick-up of the Sprinter were very helpful. They detailed the various components of the RV and how they operated. This made the orientation of the RV very quick when we arrived. The Sprinter was well appointed, comfortable and very easy to drive. We had a great time.

Communication with Heather was always excellent, thorough, and prompt. We used the Sprinter van for 2 weeks touring through various state and national parks in Oregon and Washington, and were able to completely socially isolate during these Covid times in this ideally-suited self-contained RV. It was the perfect size for two adults, and we even managed to squeeze in a 7 month old baby and all the equipment that goes along with a baby, including a Pak n Play, walker, stroller, etc. The van is very well equipped and everything was very intuitive to operate. I am 6'6" tall, but slept very well on the king-size bed. The vehicles large tanks (water and sewage) and its solar powered generator makes this perfect for going totally off the grid for at least 3 days at a time. We will definitely consider renting this van again for future adventures.

The van was great, we rented it knowing that the heat was not working, but we didn't need it anyway. Great communication and Heather was kind about us being late to return it due to extensive road work on our way back. A plus for us was that this van never really needed to be hooked up to electrical, so we could stop anywhere. If you like to cook pasta, bring a strainer. Oh, and add the "Roadtrek time" to your trip, so many questions about this rig! : )

Three nights, Grandpa and grandson, beginning with school group camping on a cold (30 degrees at night) intermittently rainy weekend. Heater was out for repair, but we slept in bags to avoid linen hassle and we’re much warmer than those in tents.
Added grandma for the third night with a longer drive and warmer valley site. Mercedes chassis/engine combination was great on the freeway, stable at 65. With semis being blown, still easily controlled, comfortable ride. All systems worked well, except the hot water/heater which had been cooked and for which replacement had not arrived; therefore only four stars. Particularly impressed with the ease dumping tanks, running macerator pump, storing hose.

Heather was a fantastic host. Very easy communications and a beautiful Roadtrek. Easy to drive and well appointed. Comfortable and incredibly quiet with Solar Power.... no generator noise. We had a blast! Thank you so much Heather.
