Alexandre was great! The car…not so much. I knew we were getting an old car, but it was difficult to sleep, let alone drive in hot Hawaii without A/C. Also, the car would shut off/stall out occasionally, which was not a great experience. We were told that we’d be the last trip if T3 Bear, so I’m glad she’ll be retired.

For planning this trip only a few days prior, Alex and Jay were so accommodating with such short notice. Also very helpful with plenty of knowledge of places to go and visit. The Bear was such a cool retro van to drive around, we felt like it took us back to the past, when times were much simpler, and that was exactly what we needed on this trip. And yes definitely got lots of looks from people and questions about this van. Definitely would do it again and highly recommend for really seeing the island. Mahalo Alex and Jay for this experience we’ll never forget.

My husband, two children (4 and 5 months) and myself had the adventure of a lifetime traveling in Alexandre’s VW Westfalia, T3 Bear! The trip exceeded all expectations and couldn’t have gone better.

Alex was fantastic. His campervan was in excellent condition for the age and ran great! We really enjoyed taking it around Oahu! I would certainly rent from him again!
