Went on a trip with my son to Colorado for a week the beginning of January and had an amazing time. The bed was nice and comfortable and the heater worked perfectly keeping us warm on the cold winter weathers. Heinz was great at explaining everything about the RV at key exchange. Would definitely rent again.

I had a fantastic 2 weeks in Big Bend National Park with this RV!
Heinz is a Mercedes enthusiast, very knowledgeable about his RV, and explains everything well. He has customized it extensively, and the highlights of this for me were the memory foam mattress topper and the customized storage. He has added a shelf over the driver/passenger seats, and swing-out boxes mounted on the rear bumper contain tools, generator, hoses, emergency fuel etc. All this added storage means that the gear garage of this RV is empty, so there's plenty of room for your own stuff.
Driving on dirt roads takes some getting used to because everything in the drawers and closets rattles, but if you've done any off-road driving it doesn't take long to gain confidence in this vehicle's abilities. It's not your luxury spacious slide-out type of RV, but it has all the basic necessities and it can go places that most other RV's can't even dream of.

Heinz was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about the Revel. The Revel was ready for us to pick up and he was very accommodating when we had to change our pick up time at the last minute due to a change in my schedule. We rented the Revel because we are thinking of buying one and wanted to try it out. We really liked it. It was a smooth ride and everything worked well. It’s large enough for 2 people but still compact enough to drive to the grocery and other regular trips without being a hassle. We plugged in to a power source, so we were able to the air conditioned at night, use the lights, and extend the awning. There are several buttons and switches in the Revel for the solar power, inverter, and other operations, so we recommend watching the video and familiarizing yourself with the controls before renting. Give yourself a little time (30 minutes or so) to go over the controls and other features of the Revel so you understand how to use them. Overall it was a great experience and working with Heinz was very smooth.
