About Scott Bourque

Hello! I'm Scott, and I founded Antimony Adventures with my sister Sarah. Our mom had planned to retire in a converted school bus. She saved up just enough to finally do it before getting diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2018. She worked her entire life and seldom took vacations, banking on being able to retire and live a permanent vacation. She never got to. That never sat right with us. Everybody should get the chance to travel in their lives - you shouldn't have to save up your entire life to do it. So Sarah and I took the money she saved for her school bus and bought this van with the intention of sharing it with the world and giving other people (and ourselves, obviously) the chance to travel.

Gus The Adventure Bus was sooo perfect for our week trip. The functionality made it so easy to live in! Enough storage to keep everything in place as the van is on the road. Now I want a Gus The Adventure Bus!! Thank you Sarah and Scott for making dreams come true in this van! 10/10 would recommend it to a friend.

Simple pick up and drop off, the van has everything listed and more. Our trip was smooth and luxurious despite freezing temps and snow. There was nothing else we could have asked for! This was our first time renting a camper van but not our last!

Oh Gus Bus. The perfect ride for a weekend getaway for me and the good boy. Pickup was a breeze. Scott gave me a quick once over of everything onboard. I was amazed by how pristine the interior was. It was like it was brand new. Gus drove like a dream, I was nervous about driving my first bus, but it was so easy to manage. At 5’1”, I did need a pillow behind me to reach the pedals, but that says more about my genetics than it does of the bus.

Gus is smartly designed and fully loaded with everything we needed for a great week traveling through northern Arizona! Scott was friendly and super easy to work with, accommodating our delayed flight and getting us on the road quickly!

We chose Gus for our first RV experience. We drove from the Phoenix area to Tonto National Monument. Staying each night at an RV park on Lake Roosevelt we enjoyed cooking and sitting by the campfire as well as exploring trails in the area as well as the cliff dwellings. Gus is well equipped we had a wonderful time! Thank you, Scott!

Hands down one of my favorite trips yet. We rented Gus and were able to visit the Grand Canyon, Scottsdale and Page Arizona. The van was clean and in great condition. It came with everything we possibly could need for an awesome trip. Scott was super helpful and responsive and provided us with some suggestions for our trip. The bed was comfortable! We throughly enjoyed our time hiking and being able to do some dispersed camping out west! We look forward to doing this again in the future.

Renting Gus from Scott and Sarah was absolutely amazing! They were super helpful with suggestions and preparations before the trip started, and available for communication during the trip. They were flexible and laid back, helping accommodate through flight cancellations and subsequent changes.

We had an amazing week long adventure through Arizona with Gus. We were so lucky this was available as our previous rental canceled less than 24hours before our cross country fight. Scott was quick to respond to our booking request and was accommodating with pick up and drop off times. The van has all the amenities you need and everything was brand new and in perfect working order!

My husband and I took Gus to Sedona for two nights. Perfect time of year for van camping. Scott was super helpful and accommodating. Easy to drive and set up. Gus the van was well equipped and perfect for boondocking! Great personal touches and amenities in this van build.
