Nomad started humbly in Chattanooga, TN in 2020 with just two vans and has since created a collective of locally owned and operated campervan rentals in several cities across the US. Our entire experience was nothing less than perfect. The van was amazing...everything and more than we thought it would be. Their recommendations of places to stay were spot on. The gift bag they gave us was ridiculously exquisite. And Sunshine was THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Highly recommend this van or ANYTHING that they offer - guided tours, yoga experiences, etc. It's bound to be amazing.

We had a wonderful rental experience. Sunshine was an absolute pleasure to deal with: she was kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful, extremely responsive to messages through the Outdoorsy app both before and during the rental, and exceptionally flexible and accommodating. The van itself was comfortable and roomy for a family of 4 with two kids ages 10 and 12. The interior build is very high quality. The beds were very comfortable. And the van comes with everything you need except clothes and food - bedding, eating utensils, cooking supplies, leveling blocks, etc. are all provided. Thanks so much - we loved it, and hope we can rent again!

Karl and his family flew into Knoxville from DC and requested pick up at the airport so they could explore the Smoky Mountains. We arranged to deliver to Knoxville from Chattanooga and pick them up at the airport for an additional fee. Karl had great communication leading up to the pick up and they left the van in great shape. Would definitely rent to them again!

This was our first time renting a campervan, and Robby was a great host! He gave us a detailed walkthrough of the van with lots of helpful tips and tricks that gave us a lot of comfort in our new adVANture. The trip was a fantastic experience and the van was perfect for the two of us. We’ll definitely do this again and highly recommend Nomad Be Happy!

Such a great experience! The attention to detail was incredible… we had everything we needed & more in the van! Will definitely take another trip! We have 2 little ones in car seats & were able to easily hook up their car seats. Beds are super comfy! Everyone was super nice with the booking. Highly recommended!!!

If you are interested in eventually purchasing a van like me, I highly recommend renting one first to try it out. It’s a big investment. We did just that with Nomad Be Happy.

The van was great! Everything you need for a great adventure is in this package. They customized the van to fit our needs. The stove and supplies helped a lot, so e didn't have to leave or remote area to go find food. The heater worked very well on the nights we were camping. It was 37 deg outside and we slept great at 68deg inside. The hosts are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend this van over others.
