We designed it to be able to camp off-grid indefinitely with power and up to 5 days (with a family of five) before needing to refill the water tank (or longer depending on your water use and how many people are in your group). Our fresh water tank holds 33 gallons. We thoughtfully designed and built our van from the ground up with high quality parts and appliances so that everything would be reliable and safe.Eating
The fridge is large for a campervan with a nice freezer to top it off, because we wanted to allow for longer trips while cooking fresh meals (and ice cream!). For meal cooking we have a double burner induction cooktop. We also provide you with an outdoor camp-stove and table with a small bottle of propane, if you'd like to grill outdoors. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools and utensils for making and serving meals. We also include a small Keurig coffee maker with pods and an electric tea kettle with assorted tea bags. Inside the cupboard you will find a complementary hot chocolate and iced tea powders. The deep sink with a pull out faucet makes it easy to wash dishes or spray down muddy gear outside. You will notice many creative touches throughout the van to make the most of the space. The dining table easily sets up on legs in the front cab area so everyone can sit down together for food or game playing. Note that the under-sink gray water tank needs to be emptied daily so it doesn't overflow (it's a simple task).Sleeping
The main bed in back is an RV queen mattress with memory foam topper for a total of 12 inches of sleeping comfort. Underneath is a twin sized mattress for a second sleeping space. Both areas have flexible reading lights installed. For those who need more than 3 sleeping spaces, we have a Cabbunk bed system that sets up in the front driver/passenger space at night. It provides 2 extra cot style bunks for those under 150 pounds each. Don't worry about light at night because each window has a custom magnetic insulated cover sewn in Quebec to keep things dark. We have 3 fans for ventilation (or white noise!) and to help keep things cool; one in the roof, one by the bed, and one on the floor as part of the heater. Speaking of the heater, if the night or day is chilly, simply adjust the thermostat to turn on the installed Espar heater.Toilet/Bathroom
When nature calls there is a toilet with an electric flush. Just keep an eye on the coloured indicator for when it is time to empty at a pit toilet outdoors or the campground sewer disposal! Depending how often you make use of it, that could be every couple days. Underneath the sink is a handy drawer to store toiletries. We include bath towels for everyone using the van. Suggestions for places to shower while using our van include your campground if applicable, swimming pools, or hostels on a paid basis. You can also ask at the tourist information centres where you are staying for advice.Storage
High quality birch cabinetry provides ample storage for food, clothes, and whatever else you need to keep in them. Underneath the passenger seat bench are baskets that can be used for shoes, toys, laundry etc. Above the front cab there is a mesh strap storage compartment.Activities
We include a large outdoor RV mat to extend the living space outdoors and 2 comfortable camping chairs. The included folding table can be used along with the provided cards or games to bring game playing outdoors. If you're interested we have the fun outdoor game of Mollky and a frisbee in the van to play at the campsite. If someone gets injured on the adventure the first aid kit is right above the sink for quick access (also where you'll find bug spray!). For exploring the mountain parks we include a Kananaskis area pass and a can of bear spray. You will need to purchase a National Park pass for the duration you will be in areas like Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper etc (the pass is specific to the driver who purchases it, that is why we can’t provide one for our guests or else a fine could be incurred). A Bluetooth speaker is provided for listening to your music or audiobooks while driving or hanging out. To keep bugs out we have a great screen that covers the whole sliding door space to allow a fresh breeze to come in.Travelling/Safety
We include a can of bear spray for your hiking and please return it at the end of your trip (unless of course you use it, but hopefully you don't encounter aggressive bears!) All 5 seats are factory installed and the rear bench has 2 seats with latches for car seats. For peace of mind there is a fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide filter inside the sink cabinet. Highway mileage is 13.5 L/100km (roughly the same as a pickup truck). Very important to note this is a Diesel vehicle and must never be filled with gasoline :)We hope to hear from you and please feel free to message with any questions. Happy adventuring! What's included• Table settings for 5 (plates, bowls, cutlery, cups and mugs)

5.0We thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring Banff area in this camper (aka Bob)! The kitchen was very well equipped, we never wished we had something that wasn’t there. Had peace of mind with the power setup, we moved campsites each night and never got below 84% battery. The owners were very cordial and helped us understand all the systems. Good gas mileage too!

5.0So grateful that we went with Rachel and Steve's van. Not only is the van very thoughtfully built (especially for a family with young kids), but Rachel and Steve are excellent communicators and really take care of their guests and the van. Would absolutely rent this van with them again if / when we return to this area.
