Getting Outdoors

Getting outdoors while camping at Gulf State Park is easy, since there are so many fun and adventurous activities to check out. Wildlife watching is a favorite pastime at the park, so keep your eyes peeled for deer, bobcats, and alligators. Why not take a guided nature walk or participate in one of the nature center's educational programs to learn more about the unique ecosystems of the Gulf Coast? If you're after something a little more adventurous while you're RV camping at Gulf State Park, check out parasailing. This activity is not for the faint of heart! You'll be towed behind a boat and lifted high into the air to enjoy the park's scenery from above. Be sure to find a professional parasailing company if you're looking to give it a try. The park permits parasailing and sometimes hosts parasailing trips. Those who wish to keep their feet planted firmly on the ground can explore several miles of hiking and biking trails throughout Gulf State Park. The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail is a great route for those not as athletic or daring. Alternatively, you can rent a bike at the camp store within the park if you forgot to load your own bike in your rental RV. Visitors will find a unique way to experience the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail: on a segway! Enjoy a two-hour guided tour along this 25-mile trail, which starts in Orange Beach and meanders through the park. Each tour begins with a certified segway operator teaching you how to use the segway before heading out.

If you value excellent communication, rent from Pensacola RV Rentals. Their communication before, leading up to, and during our trip was outstanding. While we did encounter a few minor issues with cleanliness and the TVs, the owner resolved them immediately. Every time I reached out, they were incredibly helpful and responsive. I would definitely rent from them again!

Everything was great. The camper was clean and ready to go. It had everything we needed and more! She had it stocked with the basic items and even had a case of water in the fridge for us. We had to contact her about one thing and she responded extremely quick! Would definitely recommend.
