5The part of this experience that really made the trip epic was our host, Liz. She went above and beyond at every turn to ensure we had what we needed. Alaska, as a physical place, is daunting to the uninitiated. Liz is the type of Alaskan whose innate sense of hospitality makes it possible for a newcomer to feel at ease. She has tips for experienced Alaska travelers and first timers. Your host will take great care of you on this one.
