*Please read before renting :1% of your rental fee that I get through Outdoorsy goes to Alaska Trails, a non profit maintaining access to trails in Alaska. (Or similar organization)The Moho is clean, well maintained, simple. It has a propane furnace and hot water heater, stove and oven, microwave oven, Smart TV and everything you need in the kitchen.A great rig for a family base camp or a couple’s adventure whether hooked up in a campsite or parked near the beach. No smoking.
No standing on the roof.
No fish cleaning or storage inside. Please use coolers in under storage for fish.
Fish should be grilled outside. If you have to fill the propane tank, please have them stop at 3/4 tank, not when it starts spewing fuel out of the safety valve. Please dump grey and black tanks before returning. You do have the option to have me do it for you. If scheduled in advance it is $50 or if last minute, $75. ( I will send a link for directions to a free dump station or two in Anchorage)You have the option to have me fill the gas tank, If scheduled in advance, It is $50 plus the cost of fuel. If not scheduled, it is $75 plus the cost of fuel.Drop off and pick up times are at 11am and 3pm unless other arrangements are made. There is a $50 early pick up and late drop off fee which is charged from your deposit at the end of your trip.FYI Last half of September and April rental:Depending on whether you are going North or South, there may not be onboard plumbing. If it gets cold at night, especially up towards Denali, I would have to winterize it.
The furnace, fridge and stove/microwave will still work. You would have to do dishes in Rubbermaid tubs, heat the water on the stove, and dump outside. The onboard bathroom would be unavailable. Five gallon jugs of water are provided.Having said that, it may be warm enough. Hard to predict nowadays. If you are heading to Homer/Kenai Peninsula, more likely to be fine.Enjoy Alaska!GrantWhat's includedFresh linens for four for the queen bed aft and the over the cab full size. Sheets, light sleeping bags, extra blankets for the couch and table beds, towels and washcloths, a complete kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, Smart TV, camp chairs, small grill is optional.RecommendationsI’ve taken this rig to Denali, Seward, Hatcher Pass, Valdez and Homer. It’s been great.
Good driving with good tires and brakes; wonderfully restful place to sleep, chill or enjoy a meal after a long day of adventuring.Other things to note~No smoking.~No storing or cleaning or cooking fish inside the motorhome (coolers in storage okay).-no climbing on the roof~No unmaintained roads allowed including the Denali Highway from Paxson to Cantwell (not the same as Denali National Park), McCarthy and the Dalton Highway, etc.$300 charge if it smells like smoke or fish upon return.Enjoy Alaska!

What an amazing adventure! The Moho was perfect for our family of 5. This was our first RV adventure with our 3 small kids. Everything was so smooth- from the airport pickup, to Grant being incredibly patient w/ me and the kids, to the comfy beds/bedding/well equipped RV to the drop off experience. We had a blast. If we are RVing in Anchorage again, we hope to use the Moho again. Thank you Grant!
Grant’s answer
I am so glad you and all had a great time Katie! Way to rock Alaska with three littles. They are fortunate to have adventurous parents. You are very welcome, anytime!

Grant is a very accommodating host! He even allowed me to leave my personal vehicle at his location for the duration of my rental time so that I did not have to get rides to/from. The RV is well stocked with everything you would need and many things you would want! The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. His location is very convenient as there is a gas station three minutes away with free RV dumping services. We will definitely rent from him again!
Grant’s answer

We enjoyed meeting our adult children in Anchorage for an Alaskan vacation. The RV Grant provided us with worked out great. Grant even provided suggestions on what sights to see and places to get fantastic seafood. He responded to my many questions quickly and thoroughly, We could not have had a better vacation.
Grant’s answer
Hi Scott,
Thanks for all the great communication and for taking such good care of the Moho, especially your wife's magical reorganization skills and for rinsing out the tanks. So appreciated! I'm glad you enjoyed Alaska with your family. Come again anytime!

We really enjoyed out trip to Alaska and The Moho was the only way to do it. We covered almost a 1,000 miles in eight days and always had a warm, cozy place to call home. The RV had everything we needed. Grant was a fantastic host who was helpful in answering our questions, even while in the middle of the trip.
Grant’s answer
I am so glad you and your wife had a great trip and enjoyed the Moho! It was my pleasure to support your adventures.
