While we understand you are here for the adventure, our car is NOT an off-road vehicle and common sense must be used when deciding where and where not to go.
Off-limits roads include: The Denali Highway (the 135 mile road between Cantwell and Paxson), the road to McCarthy/Kennicott, Dalton Highway (aka The Haul Road) and any locations via ferry that take you off the road system (e.g. Kodiak).Other things to note-No smoking inside the vehicle!
-there are many areas, even on highly traveled roads, where there is no cell service
-there are long stretches of road where there are no gas stations so plan accordingly
-sorry, no pets
-DO NOT clean fish in or near the vehicle. Bears are attracted to all food and especially fish smell, so choose wisely when handling and storing fish and fishing gear!
-fish smells, messes and other "accidents" may result in additional fees and affect your deposit
