RecommendationsWhile I was not born in AK, I have been here since I was 6 mo old (I've lived here just shy of 50 years). Darrel and our son are Inupiaq and were both born and raised in Alaska. We LOVE sharing our state with all who are interested. If you are interested in fishing, hiking, getting away from the crowds, mountain biking, hiking, seeing glaciers, campfires, music and time with family and friends, this is the RV experience for You! We offer fishing equipment and fishing intel, destination and dining suggestions and are generally available for Alaskan advice. Some of our favorite destinations include the obvious; hiking Flattop, Seward, Homer, Talkeetna, and Denali but we also suggest destinations that are not quite as popular. i.e. Matanuska Glacier, Tenderfoot Creek Campground, Klutina River, Willow Creek, Whittier, Trail River Camp Ground, and Clam Gulch.Other things to noteNo Smoking (of any kind) in Ruby.

Lisa was fantastic to work with for our trip down the Kenai Peninsula. "Ruby" was in great shape and came with alot of items our friends "big box" RV rental store did not. Everything worked great, finding Lisa's home was super easy, and I cannot say enough good things about our overall experience. Lisa, we will rent Ruby again next year!

Great communication from the owner throughout the trip, VERY clean interior and nice extras included-everything you could expect, and more! It was quite comfortable for a family of four. The trip was superb and the RV enabled us to explore so much of Alaska and camp on the go!

You truly couldn't ask for a better accommodation or better host! Lisa was so kind and communicative. Ruby (RV) was a dream! Lisa kept the RV well-stocked with everything you could possibly need and more! It came with dishes, utensils, pots/pans, spices, all the linens and towels that you would need and she even included games! She also included outdoor folding chairs, a portable propane grill with tanks, and more! The RV drove smoothly and was in excellent condition inside and out. We felt spoiled to have such a thoughtful and thorough host/owner and such a great RV! It made our first trip in an RV exceptional. I can't recommend them enough!
